I really don't know why this needs to be explained. I guess it’s just because people have a soft spot for Gerry, but one good season in one of the worst leagues in the country does not make you qualified to be the coach at Syracuse.
And to be specific, even in this win, there was very little actual offense. Sound familiar?I really don't know why this needs to be explained. I guess it’s just because people have a soft spot for Gerry, but one good season in one of the worst leagues in the country does not make you qualified to be the coach at Syracuse.
Bryan Baby Shark Hodgson aka The Goofball aka The Guppy aka The Gupster is a lightweight, a charlatan, and a nobody. There are a few people here enamored with Baby Shark and they may or may not be on the payroll of a certain sugar daddy. But to the casual fanbase, Baby Shark is a non entityThe Shark
Umm Duh a lifelong winner, and virtually everything he’s ever done. Would do the same here. What does Gerry do well as a coach other than being a "winner"?

And coaching at Arkansas state south international school for the blind does?????I really don't know why this needs to be explained. Yep, I mean it’s become a no-brainer. Look at the facts, put the emotions aside. Seven players in the active roster, and he still accomplished what they just did. He's been my choice for next head coach here since the middle of this season. I wanted him as HC three years ago but I get the fact he might have been too green then.
I'm convinced he's developed this persona just to generate "likes" since the system seems to count every reaction as a likeOh good lord

What would you say is a better indicator of success, a coach who wins their conference tournament or a coach who wins their conference regular season title?
Who would you rate higher, a good coach from the AAC or a good coach from the MAAC?
And coaching at Arkansas state south international school for the blind does?????
BH just won the American Athletic Conference at a program that used to be in the Big East. And coaching at Arkansas state south international school for the blind does?????
That is a shortsighted take. Certain people have the quality to succeed at any level they are at by utilizing the factors they have unique at that particular levelHow about this, if GMax takes the Saints to the Sweet 16 he should be under consideration for HC at Syracuse.
I’m happy he’s turned Siena around, but let’s not pretend that means he can do the same at Syracuse. The program needs a fresh direction away from JB. It’s the right move for everyone to move the program in a new direction with a new vision completely detached from Boeheim’s legacy.

For sure. And I'd take a regular season conference winner over a conference tournament winner, even if the conference tournament winners are more fun. I was just hoping to break it down logically why BH is still the choice over GMac.AAC is by far a better conference than the MAAC
Wait I’m confused, I thought you were all in on Hop?Bryan Baby Shark Hodgson aka The Goofball aka The Guppy aka The Gupster is a lightweight, a charlatan, and a nobody. how prestigious and impressive. I can hear the panties dropping throughout cuse nation for the #49 team in the NET, from the prestigious American conferenceBH just won the American Athletic Conference at a program that used to be in the Big East.
Siena’s Net ranking is 189.
USF is 49
The leagues and programs aren’t comparable.
Did you really just compare a national championship winning coach that had a 15 year head coaching track record of success at various levels to GMac in his 2nd season as a head coach? That is a shortsighted take. Certain people have the quality to succeed at any level they are at by utilizing the factors they have unique at that particular level
The best most recent example would be a guy like Curt Cincinnati at Indiana football. It would be tragic if we missed this opportunity.

Kids entire life he has been a winner. Now he’s mature and know longer a kid as that post game interview showed.
He would go to the ends of the Earth, working his arse off to make this place a winner again with the emotion/connection/history and legacy...
We haven’t been close to 49 in the Net in a very long time.how prestigious and impressive. I can hear the panties dropping throughout cuse nation for the #49 team in the NET, from the prestigious American conference
Yes. Opportunity knocks literally right now. He’s one of us.Did you really just compare a national championship winning coach that had a 15 year head coaching track record of success at various levels to GMac in his 2nd season as a head coach?
You basically just made the claim that GMac will be ready in another dozen years,
