Again, I’m not advocating for Gerry now in any way shape or form, just pointing out that an AD will consider a former player with more weight than a non-alum for a legit reason.

i think it works against gmac here, if he comes here and doesnt win, a reset of the program that everyone will think comes 2-3 years too late is going to cost the AD his job too.

It would be fun, but that would require USF getting a 1, 2 or 3 seed. So it ain’t happening.

Perhaps a 2nd round game if they both win. That would require GMac to pull off a historic upset.
