It was a pretty common saying around here that when Marrone took over, we were the smallest AND slowest team in the BE. Over the past few years I think Marrone has brought in guys that have speed and height, hoping they can grow into a DI football player.

Hopefully, as recruiting improves, we can start getting guys who are a year away from contributing instead of being 2-3 years away...

Our breakout season will be when those players 2-3 years in mesh with those 1 year in at the same time. Not sure if next year will be it or not but you can certainly see it building towards that as recruiting continues to trend upward. We're getting more guys that are physically ready immediately than in years past. If they get the mental aspect quickly we will be in good shape.
