giving the keys to shafer was a nice notion

or staff looks like high school compared to notre dame. if we expect to be good, these coordinators are not good enough to get us anywhere.

21 straight completions by a running quarterback...

yet another major failure at metlife. good thing we have like 20 more games scheduled for it. tell me about how much money we will make, lol.

He's not a running qb...not even close. He "might" be the best pure thrower in cfb

Are you saying that N.D., a school that can pay twice what we can for ass'ts has better ass'ts than us? Really? These coordinators can get better. Or were all these great ass'ts for ND, great out of the shoot.

Haven't been paying attention this game or year? Golson has two attempts on the day. He can scramble - but he's not a running QB.

Bs? I admit I watch them every week, but you're just wrong. He throw great deep ball, Great touch...he's run for a grand total of 400 yards...

look, if your going to bring facts in to this...

yeah he is awesome lol
his fault the refs blew that call at the end of the half. Blew the pass interfernece when the ref threw his hat. Missed a 37 yard field goal. You don't make decisions on coaches after a year and a half. And he has a winning record to boot. Who would ever coach for you?

I'm all for coaching up the kid that you think can help you win. I like hunt, I think he is a "winner" for lack of a better description. but if we want to be actually good, we cant rely on the kid from queens that cant throw and isn't fast. as for the coaches, this group just doesn't have it.

How long has Kelly been a head coach?

I'm not a huge fan of either but these guys have been together for 1 1/3 seasons, give it a rest.

doesn't sound like it,after the nd game in 16 we may discontinue those games was a post on Syracuse.com about it

But...but...he's a black dude! That MUST make him a running QB!

Right on GoSU96, I agree heartily. We're a fledgling team with new parents but we seem to be heading in the right direction.

Ill give Shafer this year but he's seriously having me worried about going back to the G-Rob years. We are COMPLETELY unable to compete against anyone above average in his short tenure. Out of roughly 17 games we have 5 games in which we were totally massacred.

Why would any top recruit want to play for a team that can't even get up for a big moment if they were all pumped full of Viagra?

All I wanted was to not have the game be over at halftime. Couldn't even accomplish that. This would've been an absolute ****show of ND was able to hold onto the ball.

Axe tweeted during game that the Metlife series will end in 2016

i don't think being together is the heart of the matter. sure coaching stability with assistants is important, but i do not believe that mcd has the right stuff as the o-cood. his offense is predictable not in very least imaginative, his use of personnel is also very predictable. the offense has no chemistry at all, just a collection of disjointed plays with no plan. i ve been at three games and saw one on tv. as i said last week i woefully predict the only other team we beat is wake forest. UNLESS mcd light goes on and we suddenly get a red zone offense as well

If they played this game at the Dome or on the planet Mars nothing would have changed.

orangehomer is underestimating his passing ability, but he is a running QB. College counts sacks as negative rushing yardage. If you take the sacks out, he has 600-700 rushing yards in 16 games and he takes off over 8 times a game.

I mean, he's not like a Hunt, where he has to 100% rely on his running, but I would still say he's a running QB.

I think there is a difference between a running qb and a mobile one, semantics I suppose. This kid hit his throws.
