Especially if we are going to be installing a largely new offense based on what Anae ran at UVA, we'll need that extra body on the O side. The D is probably getting into cruise control mode by now so White can drop into a positional role.

I'd add Darton and Fuentes into that grouping, as well.

But to answer your question -- "both." Need to add the best players we can into the mix. Would love to see a true run-plugging DT, and a DE from a smaller school looking to play [up], a la Roscoe.

Sounds about right since Anae normally coaches inside receivers.

That’s a real possibility but I also would not be surprised to see us bring in a DL coach who doesn’t have to worry about being the DC also and can focus 100% of their time on a position of need with all the loses to the roster. Anae would then take WRs where he and Beck will spend a lot of time working together with the QBs and WRs.

I can see that happening too. I think either way it’s imperative we bring in an A-list recruiter. We need another Monroe type recruiter on the staff.

Naples is ultimate SW Florida weather. It’s still in the mid 80’s until next Monday when it’s expected to drop into high 70’s. Also great HS football in this area!
