Greed and arrogance. Same as it ever was. There are some people who simply don’t get that March Madness has always been about the underdog, not the chalk outcomes. They’re destroying the sport. Sad.

It will ultimately hurt young men because there will be fewer schools allowing them to showcase their skills. Fewer scholarship opportunities when schools stop offering them.

I'm just a drop in the bucket, but if this comes to pass, I truly hope there are boycotts.

I already watch more NBA than I ever have the past decade while also hitting up a few games. All as part of the regression of college hoops. So it's all in on pro sports if they ruin it.

Man oh man, so gonna assume this will happen as well as the football super conferences very possibly and maybe even likely relegating us to Yukon status in the future, well I’m glad I’m getting old and just kind of starting the natural slide toward disinterest in the sporting world, this would cement that completely and utterly causing a further lack of interest accelerating my slide into oldmandom and cement my sports interests to zero.

That's a totally separate matter from his wanting to exclude the one-bid conference champions from the NCAA tournament. He'll have to leave the NCAA in order to achieve the SEC's ultimate dream of not requiring players to attend class.
