I had the opportunity to bring my 3 year old son to his first Spring Game today, and although I don't post often I wanted to express my gratitude to the staff players and Dome Staff. I have been to many Spring Games over the years, and this year was by far the best experience that I have had. It has a lot to do with the fact that I was able to experience it with my son, but hats off to the coaches and the players for taking time to interact with the fans, especially the younger ones. The Dome Staff were warm and friendly (I have never experienced otherwise, but I know that there have been some who have expressed otherwise) and even snapped a few pictures for us. These are the types of positive experiences that help to build the next generation of Orange fans. We were able to say hello to Coach Babers and he could not have been nicer. He seemed to really appreciate all of the support and said that he is really looking forward to getting the full squad together in August. The players were extremely personable and you could tell that they really enjoyed the chance to interact with the fans, in particular the kids. My son got to take some pictures with some of his (more likely mine) favorite players. A special shout out to Steven Clark (bcubs, you and your wife have raised a gentleman), Jake Pickard and Kayton Samuels (both were extremely gracious and personable). My son was in awe of their size (and as a former college football player myself, I am 6'4", 275lbs that is saying something). As we were leaving the Dome, my son asked me when we could come back again to see "the big guys". It was a proud moment for me, as my family has had season tickets since 1980 and I feel like everything is coming full circle. I know that we have a big hoops game tonight (and hopefully Monday), but I find myself feeling rejuvenated about Football and I am looking forward to seeing what Coach Babers, the staff and this team can build starting in the Fall. If nothing else, I left feeling that we have the right staff in place and a great group of young men representing the program. Go Orange!!

I've raised my four daughters to be Orange. It is worth it. You will always have something to share with each other. Even my two son-in-law are at least partially converted.

Awesome pics, thank you for sharing. So jealous I couldn't be there with my 4 year old son. Doing my best to raise him Orange down here in the South, in opposition to my Bama grad wife and the evil clutches of Nick Saban.

Great pics Gannon...love the fact that the players "engage" with the kids and look to be having a genuinely fun time doing it...that speaks well for them and are the kinds of things that far to often go unnoticed when talking about the team. Good stuff!!
