Guy built Stanford into a powerhouse quick and Michigan had 1 returning starter on defense and were starting their #3 qb half this season. Couldn't really be expecting much better. If patterson gets a waiver to plau next year they will be a top 10 team for sure.

Guy is a tool but a hell of a coach. Stanford and the Ninets were both horrific when he got there and both did great under him. Michigan sucked under Hoke and Harbaugh has done really well just not elite well yet
