I wasn't referring to just hotels. What is the plan for new residence halls? You're not using that land on South Campus, so where are you building? This is the overall conversation to be had. Are they going to buy out local homeowners and raze the land for development? There's little free space on Main. You need a minimum of 2000 rooms as between Skyhall and the apartments, those accomodate a minimum of 3000 students.
Between the acquisition of The Marshall and the conversion of the Sheraton into a dorm, the University has added nearly 700 beds to their dorm portfolio. They also demolished basically a block of homes on Ostrom Ave several years back - including the former offices of The Daily Orange and I believe the WAER studios - with the stated intention of using that space to construct new dorms.
