Hodgson could get the most out of Donnie. With a mentality shift he could easily be a 19/9 or 20/10 guy.

If he could just get him to cut to the rim, he would score 4-5 easy baskets every game. He would probably pass out at the first practice. Kiyan too. Neither run the floor.

I would think Ennis would be a priority for BH when he gets this job.

The pace of play is so much fun to watch. His kids play hard on both ends, not many taking plays off. That is what I want in Syracuse. Bring the fun back while we win. Overwhelm the teams we are playing. I want people to hate playing Syracuse again.

Can you imagine a full dome again playing at this pace and raining threes? The dome would explode.

Will need a different caliber of player for the scheme to work against the ACC.

5th year for Pinion and/or Nelson would be house money... I wouldn't count on it tho.

Yes way different style that what Syracuse has been use to for the last 50 years which could be exactly what we need.

For sure it’s March and while you can make the argument that Charlotte could be gassed from playing the last two days they are also much more in rhythm because of it.

Yup and I really don't think USF is playing all that great. Nelson is a little disappointing from what I have seen previously. He was super active early I think the fouls scared him.

Yeah, decent game... USF keeping them at arm's length with Pinion's shooting... See if they can wear Charlotte down and pull away...

Yup. They run a lot of quick hitter sets when the fastbreak and secondary fastbreak action isn't there. Hodge has said in interviews that probably has 300 sets that they can run quickly to take advantage of mismatches or to set up guys to get shots based on analytics - like the pin down screen they run for Pinion
