I’m usually not a fan of these takes, but I believe 100% this is accurate tonight. He needs to learn to STFÙ and play basketballCost us the game.

What boosters are making excuses for Red? Please name them. No question Louisville got it right the third time. I believe they are on their third coach since Slick Rick. And while an intelligent person can understand that by giving jb his fair share of the blame, you are not absolving Red of his share of the blame. By the way, just so you know, we don't have near the money behind our program that the Ville does. Not in the same league. That was 4 years ago,the JB blame game ended the minute he walked out the door. If Louisville and ISU can come back over night after a coach left them in the dirt, so could Syracuse. The issue is Syracuse has boosters making excuses for a glorified modified coach
You are. And okay, no money like Louisville, but ISU is just swimming in it?What boosters are making excuses for Red? Please name them. No question Louisville got it right the third time. He’s more focused and has the will to winYeah someone explain to me how Kyle is more clutch at the line than Kiyan.
He also missed the huge FT to tie at 70I’m usually not a fan of these takes, but I believe 100% this is accurate tonight. He needs to learn to STFÙ and play basketball
How many times can you be wrong in one sentence. I am no more of a booster than you. And I am not making excuses for Red. I was against hiring him and think he is doing a bad job. I want to win. But I understand the position jb left the program in. Just terrible. And while Red owns it 100% now, the job could have been easier if he would have either left the program in better shape or quit earlier. When we were still Syracuse. He quit working hard. You are. And okay, no money like Louisville, but ISU is just swimming it?
Well I apologize I thought you were a booster with your connections. How many times can you be wrong in one sentence. I am no more of a booster than you. And I am not making excuses for Red. No need to apologize. It is actually kind of funny. I was talking about this subject just the other day with a friend. I don't have any idea how this all happened. I have 5 people, all totally different that give me inside info. It was nothing that I set out to do. Now, I plan on having a red sox podcast. I wish I knew how I did it to get inside info for them like I get for Syracuse hoop. But I honestly don't know why people inside the athletic dept and many others contact me with this stuff. Honest to God.Well I apologize I thought you were a booster with your connections.
And I just don’t buy that JB is the reason for the ills 3 years later especially not in today’s world where you turn a roster over on a dime. When is it reds team? When is it solely his fault the team sucks? Placing any blame a guy who has zero say over the team reeks of excuses.
Never leave it up to the refs in a one possession game.

Please don't reply to this with "we deserved to lose" because I clearly know that. But, did the ref think Kiyan randomly threw the ball in the air out of bounds WITHOUT getting hit?
Yeah, that is why I tried to get Adam back in the fold. We need all the help we can get. When adding the 101 wins bogusly taken away from JB and, more importantly, Syracuse University, SU is the 5th winningest school in Division 1 history. Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, Duke, Syracuse.
It's beyond, let's just say, disappointing, that a school of SU's historical standing would ever use words such as; "we don't have near the money behind our program that..." in any way, shape or form.
Ok the brand of Syracuse will always be known in basketball. But let’s be real here (I’m not arguing just asking a couple of questions)…Bottom line is this. Syracuse is a top 10/top 15 basketball program and Autry is not the guy to coach this team. Need to make a change. This is a very attractive job!
I think this is exactly the wrong mindset. Drop the entitlement and forget the past. We need a coach like JB when he took over who’ll do what it takes to make this a top 10/15 job/program again. We’re a top 40 job/program at best at the moment. Times change.Bottom line is this. Syracuse is a top 10/top 15 basketball program and Autry is not the guy to coach this team. Need to make a change. This is a very attractive job!
BryantI love how, not too long ago, losing to Buffalo was unthinkable, then losing to St. Bonaventure was unthinkable, then losing to Colgate was unthinkable . . . . Who de we think is next? Cornell?
Who do we -lay next?Bryant
The top 3 are changeable. The question is how much financial risk will the university be willing to take to hire the proven commodity or hope to hit gold on an unproven commodity. I think for many reasons, now is a crucial time to take the financial risk if you can poach a proven commodity. The dome needs to be filled consistently again. Syracuse University needs an elite revenue program again. I know the work on the football side and it’s intriguing, but basketball needs to be good and should be good always.Ok the brand of Syracuse will always be known in basketball. is it a top 10/15 paying job? No
Is it top 10/15 NiL bank roll? No
Is it top 10/15 in season tickets ? No
Is it top 10/15 in nachos grande? Heck yes
But honestly - they missed the ball twice. Once with hop the next with Oats. If anyone thinks the next coach is going to be a “big name” you are absolutely out of your mind. I will debate this til the end of time. It will never happen. They are not and will not pull a successful coach from another program. They will go after an up and coming assistant or someone who was decent who recently struggled if you’re talking “name”.
This job isn’t as attractive as everyone thinks. The brand is strong but there is no way a coach who is making 4-5m somewhere else in a successful program is gonna say - ya know what I want - 2 million a year just because they get fans when they play Duke.
