JJ has led us in FGAs the last two games. They have been two awful games.

15 points on 15 FGAs and terrible D tonight and didn’t come get the ball at the end of the game.

Red better fix the offense or pray that Donnie can come back and rip off an all American remainder of the year or he’s toast.

Hofstra played really well. They hit a ton of difficult shots. This wasn’t a complete disgrace. Kiyan was absolutely mauled on that play. But also:
-George was a complete disaster on both ends. He’s a huge disappointment. He was torched on d.
-We don’t run a competent offense. We acted like we had never seen a zone before. We don’t move without the ball. We don’t move the ball and just stand there with it, letting the shot clock go down. Nothing changes. Late in the game we were not prepared with a good play for the last shot.
-The White technical was a complete game changer. He frankly deserved to get one earlier. This kind of stuff has been a problem since Red was the coach. You just don’t see this happen to other programs.
-JJ did nothing after his early scoring. He can’t shoot from outside or distribute and he has never learned to shoot with his left hand which bit him in the arse. Like George, he got toasted on defense.
-We built a roster with 2 rebounders and one is hurt. And we can’t shoot free throws.

Agree on all points especially the White T. We were just getting ready to take control, energy was up...and useless T by a guy who really didn't impact the game. Way too common behavior during Reds tenure.

While I dont have confidence in Red, It's not totally Red's fault. Free Throws are going to lose more games this year. That's the main reason for the L. BUT, Red does have to teach these guys how to play against the zone. Hofstra changing to zone defense changed the game in second half. I've watched Hofstra play several games and they are a good shooting team. Throw in a couple bad ref calls at the end and it's a L. I've followed CUSE since by days at SU in the 70's and this is embarassing.

It seemed like 80% of this board was trying so hard to be the bigger man after the Michigan F4 screw job where we could've won a Natty but got Ref'd off the floor in the final minutes. Now we're (with Axe & Waters) griping about a couple calls vs Hofstra where they shot 6 FTs. Lol what? Complete joke of a program. Another year down the toilet.
