Home and Home Series You Wanna See This Decade

Coastal Carolina = golf
UCF. = golf
USC/UCLA Nice trip

I use Cuse football as a good reason to visit places I had never previously been - Louisiana, Louisville, Mount Pleasant, Michigan. So I'd love to have some of those late 2000s - early 2010s home and homes now that I can actually afford to go. Iowa, Minnesota, U Dub would all be series I'd be interested in reviving.

Yeah, I'm generally in the same boat. Want to try some new places.

Don't get me wrong, I'll gladly head back to Knoxville, Auburn, Chicago (Northwestern or ND). But I'd like to try some new spots.

I suppose I could just go to them, but it's a little easier sell at home if it's because of a Syracuse game.

Event wise, I'd love to do Red River or Cocktail Party or SEC Championship game. A traditional Rose Bowl and the playoffs too obviously.

I'll start off:

We are due for a West Coast Trip

San Diego State if we can get them away in early November off a bye or the last weekend of the season.

New Stadium opening soon, great trip. Yes they are a G5 team but it would be a very competitive game.

2nd West Coast Choice

UCLA

We haven't played them in like 60 years. Actually with the Alliance this might be more likely than SDSU.

The Rose Bowl is a bucket list for most.
I can see us play and see my daughter as well in San Diego. Got my vote

Penn State, hands down. Army would also be a good and logical fit.

Where ya been? ;)

From the cuse.com site:

Future Schedules

Army West Point: 2023 (home), 2024 (away), 2025 (home), 2026 (away)

Thank you! I’ve been told that a game at West Point is a bucket list must.

South Carolina is a winnable SEC game but I absolutely love the state of South Carolina and anything that can get me in to the triangle I listed (Nashville/Knoxville > Athens > Columbia > Nashville/Knoxville) I am all in.
Agreed - just not in August/September. Love Athens, been to several games there. Would love to see a game up in Knoxville. Tuscaloosa is underwhelming, no desire to go back there. Texas and Texas A&M would be cool to see

Texas A &M. My brother is an Aggie and Kyle Field is a must see for anyone who hasn’t been there.

UCLA
UGA
Vanderbilt
Wisconsin

I’d put PSU at the very bottom of the list. There are more than 100 other D1 options. No need to schedule that dreck.

West Virginia. I miss the rivalry. We don’t have a rival at all anymore.

Washington. Cool looking stadium.

Colorado. A state I’d like to visit again and a team we can beat.

Wisconsin. Mainly for the ‘97 season opener highlights that would get shown.

The Air Force Academy could be interesting
Only in September. I visited my son there for Columbus Day weekend. It was 70 when I arrived and 28 for the game. I had to use my boot to chip a coating of ice off the aluminum bleachers.

Easy drive from everywhere in the NE. BC does, it isn't beneath them.

Did you read the thread title? I mean, we know you have your reasons, but not sure why most anyone else would want that home-and-home?
It's in the neighborhood. I don't think UMASS fans would be as big of jackasses as UCONN fans, they would probably be grateful for it.

Rutgers. Not crazy about them, but it's an easy travel and would help w/NYC NJ footprint.
Liking the Army games.
