It is! Bombing around in a 30 foot class A motorhome with the ol lady and two pups lol. Currently at Fort Meyers Beach for a couple weeks, then down to the keys from here. You in the area? We're doing Hawaii for January, but plan to do more loops around Florida in Feb-Aprilish

That was the best and most consequential Syracuse basketball game since the West Virginia win. This could end being a nationally relevant team and that's really exciting.

If I could get the motorhome to Hawaii, I'd never leave lol. We're gonna store it for the month and fly over.

Oh snap, that's not far. FMB is our favorite Florida spot so far (have only been to Orlando and a few days in Clearwater so far) so we plan to be back a few times this winter. We should try to catch a game or split a bottle of jack and try to ride gators or something.

We're using e-bikes to get around instead of pulling a car, so our travel radius is semi limited unless we jump in an uber, which could be fine.

Where are you on the beach are you guys? I've only been down a couple of times since Ian and a lot has changed.

We're at Gulf Air RV Resort, about a mile or so from the bridge on San Carlos. About a mile from Nervous Nellies, doing Thanksgiving there with some friends from Alaska who snowbird in Lehigh Acres.

Was walking around that area on Sunday, and met a pretty old couple dressed head to toe in Cuse gear. He talked his wife into driving to the beach and finding a sports bar for the game. 20 minutes in they were on the sidewalk headed back to the beach, couldn't stomach it anymore. Real neat couple, wish I remembered their names. Mighta been a board members parents!

Gotta say, I'm encouraged by the fact that we didn't just roll over when it ballooned to an 11-point lead last night.

FT shooting is a massive issue, but the effort and energy on defense was very impressive.

I'll give JJ the props he deserves, as well. He played much better defensively.

JJ had that nice block but we didn't get the ball. The full court pressure was nice he forced a steal and then Kiyan layup the other end. You don't see that happen to Houston very often.

Longtime lurker. There hasn’t been much to say for years. Hence the lurking. I don’t know if this game means Syracuse is back. But that was a fun game to watch. It was a great game actually.

Watching some of the game back, I don't care if Kingz never makes a shot, he can not come off the floor. If you are a coach and trying to teach your kids how to defend man-to-man off the ball have them watch Kingz. He is in the perfect position like 99% of the time. Always in ball you man position and never caught watching the ball. He is rarely caught on screens. He funnels players the way they are supposed to go when they have the ball. He is small, but he tries to box out and competes on the glass. He is everything I mean everything you would want in a wing defender and unlike a lot of players he is locked in almost all game and rarely takes plays off even when he is off the ball.

Crazy game. Loved the effort and fact that we showed we can compete at a high level. However, man did we leave a lot on the bone last night. If I didn't watch the game and just looked at the box score, no question I'd say we lost by 15-20 points. Nuts.

While I hate the loss, I love the fact that we put up these numbers offensively and we come away feeling like we gave away the game last night to the number 3 team in the country. I wouldn't want to be Kansas today.

Another element that we don't quite have yet that will turn us from good to great is the emergence of a guy you can give the ball to with 10 seconds on the shot clock who will either get off a good shot or get fouled.

That’s JJ, he did it many times last season - because the offense was not good - and he was criticized endlessly for it.
