There is a thread about it. But we are around 40k right now. All depends on how much of a push we get this week. With Dungey most likely out, most likely not as much of a push as we would like. I'm saying 44k, if we get a huge push.

based on ticketmaster we are nowhere close to 40k looks same as it did for CMU

ugh. OMG. I have to say, Im very surprised to hear these attendance numbers.

Especially seeing that LSU is bringing easily 5k.

A more experienced viewer of that map ( rrlbees ) probably could tell more by looking at it but if I had to guess looks like it will be 34-37K total - barring a humungous push.

It is not the same as CMU, the lower bowl was not even close to having the seats sold out and very few are available for LSU. As I'm sure you know it is very hard to tell based on ticketmaster, because some seats appear unavailable but actually are not sold. With that said and based on what is shown, we are well over what we had for CMU. Some have even said we were over 40k as of last weekend.

A lot more sold downstairs than the CMU game. But it could be LSU fans.

Gonna be hard to tell. It's parents weekend and if students wanted to buy discounted tickets for their parents, they out the student with them. So some amount of students will be in sections other than the student section.

Who said that? that's ridiculous. U could have fired cannons into entire sections without hitting anyone with even the shrapnel. Not sure how many people had tickets but didn't go. The lower bowl does look more full but a lot of those sections are already pre allocated for students.

But they also take away part of the student section.

For example when I bought my parents wknd tix, we sat in the student section but had designated seats.

More SU fans go to the dome so that wouldn't help. Nobody was happy with the attendance numbers for SU at the meadowlands.

He was saying that someone said the LSU game had over 40k sold as of last weekend. Not the CMU game.
