I'm really hoping for at least 44k. We'll see.
Not for that game, you're misreading what I said.
More SU fans go to the dome so that wouldn't help. Nobody was happy with the attendance numbers for SU at the meadowlands.
To me it loooks like a bunch of seats upper deck sideline went today. You agree ?Not for that game, you're misreading what I said.

Of course not, doesn't make sense for me in 2015.You coming to this game?

Now if my son or daughter was a student and I was on campus visiting, I would make damn sure I was at the game with the student and traveling party. Just what kind of students and parents are they letting in now?? Communist Russians?? No wonder the ranking has dropped. Present company excluded
I think there will be good representation by students and parents. They set aside at least 2 sections for them.
Funny but frustrating story about my son is that this is the 4th straight game he's gotten jobbed in some way. Being the big fan he is and wanting to go to all the games, he got student season tix.
First game, freshman get in free. Second game, all students get in free. Third game, a professor decides to conduct a team building exercise last Saturday at 1. Tells the class school comes before football and that its mandatory. So he doesn't go to game.
So now he's excited about LSU. Huge game. He's gonna get there early to get in the front row like he's done the other games and stand behind his classmates on the team at about the 30. Goes out and buys an SU cape and face paint and all. Lol.
So...he finds out he as a student is relegated to a section in the endzone. They have taken the sideline student section and reserved it for those students and their parents who bought tickets for this game. Of course he didn't need to buy tickets for his parents since we have our own.
I don't think he's buying seasons next year.
I'm starting to get an idea about why some of our students might get frustrated with the whole process and just decide not to go.I think there will be good representation by students and parents. They set aside at least 2 sections for them.

Good God SU Athletics, why do you think it is a good idea to get rid of/move the student section for any game ever? They do this crap so much and it makes zero sense.
They have to move it. Either they move it to the sideline or to the endzone.
But if they are going to have the parents sit alongside the students, they have to move it.
Set up a different section for students to sit with their parents if they so choose. Lord knows there's plenty of other empty areas in that place.
and then the student section has 25% of the students they normally have.
No offense, but you arent thinking this through.
Maybe it doesn't matter now, with the apathetic student population for football, but they do this every year. Imagine a scenario where we are actually good and we are putting 3-4,000 students in the student section consistently. Then we have a huge game like this one, and the student section becomes 15 rows of bleachers in one section in the endzone.

There needs to be at least a little consistency and account taken for the folks who actually buy season tickets. If a student has a season ticket and then they decide to give them away for free, they should be able to present their ticket for a refund, or something, at the very least.
