I agree. Our #1 WR (Sales) never saw the field, and Chew has apparently been playing injured (but had a nice game vs. Cincy). As often as there have been drops, WRs have gotten separation but Nassib has failed to deliver the ball on target.
Chew had a couple of big drops vs Cinci as well including an early 3rd and 8 where the crowd was ready to explode and then let out a collective groan when they saw the ball bounce out of his hands and hit the turf. I was so used to him having superglue hands that his drops really surprise me.
I guess alot of that could be helped by Nassib tossing a changeup rather than fastballs all day. I does kind of remind me of McNabbs early days in Philly when the ball would go right through the WRs hands and hit them in the chest or helmet and bounce incomplete now that you guys have mentioned it. The Lemon drop in the endzone had some heat on it but I thought it was needed to thread the coverage.
Hopefully they (coaches, QBs, WRs, TEs) figure it out by next year, whatever "it" is.
