How much time does Rob Moore get?

I agree. Our #1 WR (Sales) never saw the field, and Chew has apparently been playing injured (but had a nice game vs. Cincy). As often as there have been drops, WRs have gotten separation but Nassib has failed to deliver the ball on target.

Chew had a couple of big drops vs Cinci as well including an early 3rd and 8 where the crowd was ready to explode and then let out a collective groan when they saw the ball bounce out of his hands and hit the turf. I was so used to him having superglue hands that his drops really surprise me.

I guess alot of that could be helped by Nassib tossing a changeup rather than fastballs all day. I does kind of remind me of McNabbs early days in Philly when the ball would go right through the WRs hands and hit them in the chest or helmet and bounce incomplete now that you guys have mentioned it. The Lemon drop in the endzone had some heat on it but I thought it was needed to thread the coverage.

Hopefully they (coaches, QBs, WRs, TEs) figure it out by next year, whatever "it" is.

I dont a WR coach can do all that much for a kid after he gets to college to improve his pass catching other than drill him and hope he works hard .. the stuff he can improve is route running, creating separation, and blocking. I dont think most even notice that here.. We also over look that west/foster were doing much of the best blocking before one got hurt. Lemon has done a good job their too.. Routes and separation, one you can improve, the other you are only going to get to a certain point without athletic ability.. Depending on how well the HS program plays and the competition many kids never use those shills until college.

Nassib was recruited by Grob after it was apparent the program was destined for failure. Nassib had no other real offers. He also doesn't have any touch, any field vision, any accuracy beyond 15 yards, or any escape ability. Nassib is a major liability for this team. It would make me very happy to hear he is taking his degree and moving on. I wish him nothing but the best, but he is not FBS material. Mac/Sun Belt maybe. Probably would have had an amazing career in FCS but is in over his head right now.
