had Allen not thrown his first series deep ball a bit too far and his 2nd series deep ball a ft too short.. at 17-0 do we see hunt as early or would it have been 24-0 before he got in?

I think Hunt is showing more rhythm but it just feels like the play calling fits better. At least the coaches did the right thing and let Allen have the shot to keep the job and Hunt showed he deserves it now.

but people cant forget the first deep ball Hunt threw was 2 yds under thrown but caught

the two things that i see in hunts game. he at least has a burst with the ball in the running game. Quick in space it seems. 2nd he seems to be more willing to give up on a rcvr and go thru a progression. now some of that is the play calls he is getting are much looser in design and allow it.

the only unknown is how will he play when the game is tight, how will he play starting a game. and how will he play with the other team is actually in his face.

being the QB is as much how the team responds as it his who has more talent. but if the coaches really think they want to make a QB change they have to do it next week and not let this happen one more game and throw Hunt out there to be the starter his first time against clemson.

Allen three long passes OOB what - three times so far this year? Allen's 55 yarder to Kobena in the PSU game was under-thrown by at least two yards.

Allen has nothing to offer that Hunt doesn't. If he does he made a big mistake of hiding it in the first three games.

There are so many things that happen in a football game that could change the whole course of the game. One call, one missed block, a dropped pass a blown assignment...if if if.

Tulane will be a heck of a challenge and I agree with you, this change has to and probably will be made for the Greenwave.
