Has anyone heard anything about where Howard is transferring to? I know COVID has impacted everything, but with Goodine and Jalen both picking their new schools I’m curious if anyone has heard anything on Howard.

Still listed in the student directory, but that doesn't mean anything.

All roads for transfer guards lead to the state of Rhode Island. I'd look for him there somewhere. It's not that big, shouldn't take long.

Other than there, maybe UB or Canisius?

I wish him well, but the smaller the program, the less likely it is that they’ll be playing this season.
Sure sounds like it. Looks like there might not be enough financially to gain for these guys to play.

I mean the entire team can fit in a sprinter and TV coverage is amazing.

What about non conference moving those Carribean type tourneys to campuses? Isolate them and do it TBT style. Everyone plays 2-3 of those make them regional. Every school has empty hotels near it.

Despite all the league movement MVC A10 etc are still worth watching. Dayton and San Diego St were contenders. Top guys skipping college will benefit those schools even more.

Noone will ever care about the G league.

5 weeks since this post and still no word on where Howard's next stop will be, huh?

Would welcome him back... I think people are underestimating the need for an experienced backup guard. Hopefully Richmond is what we hope, but we are 1 injury away from a major problem.
he's not comin back

Doesn't anyone follow him on Twitter? What's he saying there? And no, I don't have twitter.

i'm no twitter expert... but i did look him up... and i didn't see anything about where he is or what his plans are. i figured that with classes having started in many places, we would have heard something by now... the silence is strange.

What about the portal? Is he still inside the portal or does the portal reset for next school year?

Wonder with his health issues he has a hard time finding a place for a schollie. He should take the free education at SU, IMO
It might not be be bad for him to take a year off and regroup.

Howard Washington is a decent college backup player who has not demonstrated any great offensive skills at the college level. He should have stayed at Syracuse, played as a reserve and continue get a good college education. Understandably, he left to pursue his dream of playing full-time and use that experience to play professional ball. Unless he finds the right place, he may have given up his chance for a college scholarship. I wish him well and all the luck in finding that right place.

i always thought he would graduate and then join the coaching staff. to me, he seemed tailor-made to be a promising coach once his playing days were over...

I think he’s mentioned that too. He wants to go into coaching

I can't remember so much hostility from the fans for a kid who seemed to love the university so much. Not you, but many others.

I hope he lands somewhere he can show his leadership skills and have a great last year. He deserves it after everything he's been through.
