HUGE pre-bye Win

Absolutely huge. Lets all be happy. Schedule lines up favorably to steer us back on track before Clemson. Hope we maintain this focus vs Duke, they’re not as bad as their record may suggest
Agree 100% hopefully no significant injuries from today's game and some of the players who have been out of the lineup this year will return at full strength for the Duke game and the remainder of the season.

aside from Tucker, what are your biggest takeaways from today's game?

Tucker is clearly the biggest. He's a natural. He's the guy I hate on other teams.

I think the OL was much improved.

Nykeim's speed is back. Great to see Tommy and Taj connect on a deep 6 as well.

Tommy with time, and a first read coming open, will complete the pass. Threw some great passes today.

Defense has big play potential on any given play. 4 INTs was enormous, as well as other forced incompletions.

That 3-3-5 needs to figure out how to better set the edge on D. GT just destroyed us running around the tackle, over and over and over.

There's an inordinate amount of youngsters playing on D. They will make mistakes. OCs will figure out how to exploit some of it. But they better get it right, because they're a bunch of ball hawks. And there are some legit pass rushers on this D.

Cisco gets hurt, misses the game, and we have 4 picks. It's pretty incredible.

Dome looked awesome. Great day for SU football all around. And I think we all really needed it.

yep, failed to have any containment on the outside zone time and again

Tommy’s grandma who lives with me on hospice that tommy face times every day ! She Prayed for him and the team ! Tommy wrote grandma on his cleats ! That’s why we won
She is a saint ! We had a run game , we got turnovers and we got some luck by divine intervention of a saint ! Thank u grandma and thank u Tommy for loving your grandma

Congrats. This one must’ve felt great!

I don't know where I rank those 3 against each other. Like our chances against all of them.

But Pitt and UNC are better than any of them. I don't think NC State would blow out Georgia Tech if they played next week. Shame we couldn't do anything on offense and steal one of the first two.

After Clemson I think we can win every game down the stretch. Don't think we will but we'll have a chance.

Is Bleich suing the NCAA or still trying to get cleared? One more good OL would be amazing.

This board is a wild ride, a roller coaster, the viper. After all the doom and gloom last week, now we are lining up those we can beat. Today was a step in the right direction and loved alot of play out there. but, we need to keep in mind that an offense of alot of frosh put up over 530 yards and was hampered by 15 penalties and 5 turnovers. GT was totally careless. Yes, it's nice our O showed some life.

Where are you seeing that they got 530 yards?

Game stats, they outgained us by 80 yards. Marched the ball but when a team is -4 in the TO column they will get beat and 15 penalties. Tommy played better but we left alot of plays out there.

Oh I'm seeing they had 450 yards. Yes we got fortunate they made a ton of mistakes but the defense did force Sims into a few bad decisions including the last INT.

Haven't mentioned the 275 they had on the ground. Love our young talent, but it takes a frosh qb making big mistakes to slow them.
Im encouraged that Coley and Cisco were out and we still forced as many turnovers as we did. Where we need work is imposing Ourselves on the edge and getting our safeties to protect the sidelines on runs. All can improve during a bye week

Barring injury I think we’ll be the better team in all of our home games. If we lose at home it’ll be because we don’t show up.

And we can beat Louisville on the road if the offense shows up at all
BC is going to lose to Texas State tonight and they made Duke look awful on their own field. We have a chance to run the table at home.

Our secondary is loaded. Carter and Hanna both making big plays, Hanna led the team in tackles I believe. Love seeing the youth a linebacker there is some serious talent there. Offense seems to be clicking more. Sterlin seems to be opening the playbook more and more each game.

I tried not to get too down after the 0-2 start since they were top 25 teams. Awesome to see what we do against similar competition.

My biggest takeaway is that with a running game we have an offense. I thought pass protection was holding the offense/TD back but I now think it’s the running game. Even the threat of a running game does so much for the offense hopefully Tucker is the real deal because he looks very solid.
