I always get duped that there’s gonna be something interesting as soon as I click, not 20 pages into it. Looks like he married Grossburgers sister.maybe neither here or there but I for one love these ads I'm getting on here lately

It would be one thing if it was genuine. It was so fake. He’s always been an odd fidget, ever since he played for Seton Hall. I will give him credit for something, he has overcome something horribly wrong with him ( what ever it is), to become a somewhat competent basketball coach..If that ayyy-hole Hurley wanted the last image of him to be emotionally walking off the court arm-in-arm with his seniors, that should have been the last thing he did, instead of acting like a dee-bag and disrupting another team that was about to play with his baby act.
I would be embarrassed, but this is where the AD comes into play and not let a successful coach get away with bad behavior. Indiana for years allowed Bobby Knight to get away with outlandish and reprehensible behavior which encouraged him to get even more ridiculous as time went by. It didn’t have to end the way that it did with “Knight” if the AD and the powers that be at Indiana showed early on who’s the boss and demanded that he changed his ways. You wouldn't be embarrassed?
Problem is the investigators are former UNC athletes, meaning they can’t read the complaints.I’ll believe it when I see it if anything actually becomes of this.
UConn will suspend him from June 1- September 1.I would be embarrassed, but this is where the AD comes into play and not let a successful coach get away with bad behavior. It is a nice sentiment but, in the "winning trumps all else" mentality in college hoops and football, a coach as successful as Knight was (3 championships in 11 years) is significantly more powerful than the AD.I would be embarrassed, but this is where the AD comes into play and not let a successful coach get away with bad behavior. Mullen's should be fired for not backing what Ellis did and taken some action against douchebag Hurley, but like some have said on here, they take care of their own no matter the cost.![]()

Let's ruin Bobby Mullens' life.
Well, if that is the case then forget nice sentiments, or any need for embarrassment. We should not be complaining about Hurley’s behavior. He has a right to be the way he is because he holds all the cards as long as he is winning championships. It is a nice sentiment but, in the "winning trumps all else" mentality in college hoops and football, a coach as successful as Knight was (3 championships in 11 years) is significantly more powerful than the AD.
Once his performance tailed off, his power diminished and got to the point where the powers that be at Indiana were comfortable enough to get rid of him.
Had he grabbed that kid by the throat in the mid-eighties, no way he gets fired (obviously, this is my opinion).
I don’t think saying “we couldn’t make the shots” is throwing anyone under the bus.If you listened to his post game presser, he kind of threw his own guys under the bus by saying that the offense ran well and gave them a lot of great looks but they just couldn’t make the shots. It will be a great day when our program is back where it belongs and we beat up on this clown.
Even if that is true, it doesn't matter one bit.Lost in all of this is they DID sort of get jobbed by the officials
Oh of course. He long ago lost any credibility on that. He's psychoEven if that is true, it doesn't matter one bit.
When?Lost in all of this is they DID sort of get jobbed by the officials
He has the right to act like a complete jacka$$ just because he is currently untouchable?Well, if that is the case then forget nice sentiments, or any need for embarrassment. We should not be complaining about Hurley’s behavior. He has a right to be the way he is because he holds all the cards as long as he is winning championships.
CTO might have a different take on this, but it seems to me that Mullens' response only serves to amplify Hurley's remarks. If he had ignored the situation, it's likely that Hurley's comments would have been largely forgotten about as soon as the next round of games tip-off tonight.![]()

Agreed this idiot also doubled down and tweeted then deleted the following:CTO might have a different take on this, but it seems to me that Mullens' response only serves to amplify Hurley's remarks. I'd rather be embarrassed after winning two championships and being the best program in the sport than the embarrassment I currently feel for the program. You wouldn't be embarrassed?
I do PR and would expect to be fired if I yelled at a reporter.Agreed this idiot also doubled down and tweeted then deleted the following:
“PR man yells at reporter. News at 11,” Mullen wrote in the post before removing it according to multiple outlets, including the New York Post. “I have a journalism degree and I know the difference between reporting and seeking out ‘gotcha’ moments. My temper flared a bit in a moment of weakness after a loss, but I think the journalists I work with regularly would vouch for me.”

Thats the craziest part, because not only is Mullen a piece of garbage for making threats, but he is incredibly stupid to think that this incident would have any serious effect on Hurley's reputation. Hurley has said crap like that a million times over already! Why would one more instance of Hurley being Hurley need such an over the top response to try and cover it up? He acts the way he did in that video 24/7!CTO might have a different take on this, but it seems to me that Mullens' response only serves to amplify Hurley's remarks. No he doesn’t have the right to act like the a@@ of a jack because he is winning. That was my point and why he should be reined in by the AD and the school powers (trustees or whoever is in control). I was reacting and responding to your reply that my sentiments were nice and winning trumps all. Winning doesn’t have to trump all. A school can say that although you are running a winning program, the university is more than a winning sports team and we need you to represent the university better or else. Sometimes people and organizations need to stand for something more than winning. Here I go again with nice sentiments. But, if Indiana would have stood up to Coach Knight much earlier and threaten to fire him and be ready to stand by it, he would not have terrorized the team and reporters all the years that he did. Loudmouth and bullies are generally cowards who get away with things if allowed to, and if the people that govern or have the power relinquishes it to them.He has the right to act like a complete jacka$$ just because he is currently untouchable?
But then when he is no longer untouchable, he should transition into acting like a decent human being?
How about simply acting like a decent human being all the time?
You can both win and not act like a complete jackhole.
Tony Bennett, Jay Wright, Tom Izzo, among others, have proven that it is possible.
I don’t think saying “we couldn’t make the shots” is throwing anyone under the bus.
I mean, we had a coach engaging in embarrassing behavior for years AND we weren't coming remotely close to winning titles.I'd rather be embarrassed after winning two championships and being the best program in the sport than the embarrassment I currently feel for the program.
