LOL, why did you feel the need to defend the refs? Haven't even been mentioned in this thread. We lost this game. Any accusations it was due to the refs or anything else is misplaced frustration.
Game day thread had enough mentions for all threads.LOL, why did you feel the need to defend the refs? Haven't even been mentioned in this thread.
Listen, just back from the game, will watch the replay, but being there, they sure set the tone in a negative way if the calls were indeed as bad as perceived in the Dome.We lost this game. Any accusations it was due to the refs or anything else is misplaced frustration.
Apologize for what? For disagreeing or. Ring frustrated?Listen, just back from the game, will watch the replay, but being there, they sure set the tone in a negative way if the calls were indeed as bad as perceived in the Dome.
If negatively sets the early tone, which affects the short term, which in turn, affects long-term. End of story, if we score on the first series, it’s off to the races. If I am wrong after a rewatch, I’ll come back after a rewatch and apologize
I thought the refs were great, personally. The use of the replay reviews, consistent application of DPI/defensive holding - just really, really well done by all.Game day thread had enough mentions for all threads.
How else do you interpret the original post?LOL, why did you feel the need to defend the refs? Haven't even been mentioned in this thread.
Alright forget apologize, retract! Better?!Apologize for what? For disagreeing or. Ring frustrated?
None needed if even deemed warranted. Doesn’t change the outcome. Really disappointed by today.
Well, they are flat earthers, so...Clemson board has a thread up with video clips of the 29 times the refs absolutely hosed them, so clearly the officials were on our side this time.
Nothing is better after the game. Silent despondency right now.Alright forget apologize, retract! Better?!
I hope Dino tongue and cheek says this but he won't because he's a stand up guy.I thought the refs were great, personally. The use of the replay reviews, consistent application of DPI/defensive holding - just really, really well done by all.
“Biased” is a strong wordRefs were definitely bad and biased but even if they got the calls right we would have messed up along the way
We did not in fact
This isn't a backwards pass. We give up a timeout saying it is. (I think)
We did not in fact
Oh I gotcha, I thought you meant we did use a timeoutRight - meaning if we contest and are wrong.
Oh I gotcha, I thought you meant we did use a timeout
That, the first pass interference on us and the no call when Alford was held more on the same sideline were all atrocious. The rest debatable. But those three alone were impactful. And the acting job by klutnick on the nudge by wax was insane.Yeah - I mean - we aren't getting that overturned...then everyone would yell about that.
Still think in today's game and protecting the QB the overturn on GS in the first drive was just ridiculous.
