I just watched Garrett and Rhino's presser post game. All I can say is, that man Shrader is a leader. He is not satisfied at all with how the offense has looked. I love how he says we need to score more, and we can do more once this offense is opened up. He is begging for more of an open offense I feel like based on his comments towards end of presser. He clearly was not happy they were so vanilla to start the game. I think he wants the weight on his shoulders, he wants to do more and he believes they can do much more.

I just got fired up after watching his presser and hearing his comments. He looks pissed off for greatness. Just my gut feeling... I think he has a big game Saturday. I think we open the game up from the jump. Let this man roll out and make plays. We have to look at that second half as the hopeful turning point for this O.

I AM ALL IN LETS GO.

You’re left with the distinct feeling that Shredder will be having discussions with DFB and Sterlin about giving them a chance on offense.

Now that he has some evidence I bet he will use that leverage to get more influence. Dude is clearly highly competitive and highly annoyed

Absolutely agree!!!

The coach won’t say it but our QB1 will. I love how he says we were predictable. He knows. And now it’s time to give him a seat at the table.

“spread things out snd let us make plays thats the biggest thing, when you condense the offense and run basic stuff , kind of shuts things down”

I LOVE IT. Kid wants more. He wants to spread the rock to his WRs. He is literally asking for it end of this presser.

His toughness and leadership is the reason he‘s starting. I think his teammates respect him. He said, let’s move to ball around and trust players talent. That has to go over well with his teammates. Let’s hope his hits a couple of long balls Saturday and show a certain receiver he messed up.

I want nothing more then a bug day from Shrader and the WRs Saturday. Come on let’s put it together. I really want to see this team succeed, I really like the talent we have. Just need to do a few more things right and we could upset wake.

Yep...you can see that GS was visibly frustrated with the play calling and the loss.

I just have to say...where's the love for the Rhino? What an amazing leader and team mate.

He's not alone. I like Gilbert 50% of the time, but the other 50% of the time is worse than bad. Shrader is not wrong and players know when your play calls suck. They're not dumb.

I just wish Rhino didn't miss any blocks. It stands out on re-watch.

Yesterday it was suggested that there was hypocrisy on the board for not even considering character issues because of him missing 4 games.

Were they early on, and got better throughout the game (as Rhino mentioned, and also upperdeck suggested)?

Hoping it's a first game of the year type thing.

I like that he sees what is happening and I like what he is suggesting get changed.

I am not sure it is a good move for him to second guess the coaches (to a degree) in a press conference, especially so early in his career.

Don't get me wrong. It is fine to talk about this in private, but he needs to be careful what he says in public.

I'm glad he said it, this shows everyone how much he hates to lose. The coaches should applaud that, it means you have a real leader in the huddle. He said we meaning the team didn't play well because they didn't play to their strengths.

Yeah my GS man crush is full on. Make it happen my man, and coaches give him a long enough leash to LET HIM make it happen.

Honestly, I get what you are saying and agree to an extent...but at the same time someone needs to place some accountability on who was calling the early plays. That was awful.

Yeah after Saturday he can take the reins, no longer hold back from doing the things leaders do. Don’t wait in the background any longer, be vocal, be upfront, take over the team and create a new identity with anyone not willing to be on the train encouraged to move aside (or be put aside ala Taj).

Yes be smart and diplomatic about it all as Tom notesas much as intelligently possible, but going forward he can and should allow himself to become qb1 with all that goes with it.

It’s good to feel some optimism and excitement about the football program again.

Wish I could agree but I can't. On our last drive 1st and 10 (after Shraders nice 1st down scramble) we throw a WR screen to Jackson. Elmore completely whiffs the block and it blows up the play. I think Jackson got a yard maybe 2? But if Elmore makes the block it's at a minimum a 5/6 yard play and possibly more when you see how it could've played out with a block.

It's a bit weird because the FSU guy ducks under Elmore but he doesn't even put a hand on him. Then after missing the lead guy he also barely touches the second guy. You just shake your head watching it, it's the Elmore version of the Marlow Wax sideline play. The play is at the 2:23 mark left in the game.

I’m not sure GS said anything everybody didn’t know, I think 2 minutes into the 2nd quarter. we had 20 yds of offense. From the point on we turned him loose. Dino knows it, Garret knows , Rhino knows, Gilbert knows, everyone knows. I am guessing we will have a different game plan from the start vs WF.

I feel like Shrader is our voice lol. We've been saying for years to open it up, maybe Dino and company will listen.
