Yes coaching was part of it

I'll take 3-6points there

It's the 10-14 the refs cost us that pisses me off

And it'll never get better in the ACC unless someone makes a huge issue of it on a national level

PHICK those refs and their terrible decisions

I don't have a problem talking about the refs. It's your ridiculous idea to consult a lawyer I was laughing at. Be smarter.

Hard for me because I can’t look at it in a bubble. I’m sure there will be a game where we are on the otherside and W thanks to a few calls. It sucks but we can’t control it and its part of the game these days.

What we can control is the 6-10 points we left on the field due to coaching decisions. Yes, hindsight is 20/20 but that is more frustrating to me than the refs.

Maybe my expectations are the refs are always going to suck…

Family who happens to be a lawyer from SEC country

If I made a simple mistake in my job that amounted to a $5 million gain/loss (estimating bowl revenue to a school), I’d get fired. If you’re a referee, you don’t have any accountability or repercussions and the only mention you hear is someone saying “it’s hard to do, why don’t you pick up a whistle?” Lack of transparency is nonsense.

So there's no accountability for garbage performance
Not through the legal system. Wow you might want to take a break. You're obviously emotional and at least I hope you aren't thinking before you are posting.

I always thought blaming refs Is a loser’s mentality; but it is harder to keep thinking that way.
I am in the same boat. And, those waiting for it to even out don’t understand that it’s not a probability issue.

Dude they get graded every game by their league office. The league office holds them accountable. I know that’s not the legal system but it’s how every conference in America does it. Performance review by the league every week. But sure, ask your Uncle the lawyer if he’ll take this to the Supreme Court lol.

The ACC has their own process for dealing with poor officiating by their employees but I highly doubt they are going to care outside of not giving that crew a bowl game or having them do the ACC championship.
Per ACC evaluation, these officials did exactly as instructed.

And why not. Because it's never been done before?

Enoughs enough

It would be interesting to see if the missed calls/phantom calls were all from one referee or line judge or if it was all over the place.

How was Tim Donaghy caught when he was fixing games in the NBA?

There is some accountability. It just isn’t played out in public. These games get reviewed. Guys get assessed. It’s not the accountability I object to, it’s the idea that it doesn’t seem to improve.

If there is evaluation and consequences due to all of these missed calls and no improvement, that leads me to believe the benefits of making/missing these calls exceeds the consequences.
