It's a coaches feel. The 3 guards are too close to call and to just make a standard statement/decision. In MSG Triche/Waiters finished and everyone thought that it would stay like that and Scoop wouldn't see the end of close games. Triche/Scoop finished the Florida game. Whatever works. I only get stressed when the 2 in there are playing like ass and a change isn't made. That was the case in the GTown game. But even post game JB went as far as he has ever gone in kind of admitting maybe he should have done something differently.
If it comes down to it, Triche is a much better FT shooter than either Scoop or Dion. And he has shown that he has ice in his veins in critical situations (which speaks to the thread about his display of emotion during games, which he has learned to harness).Dion is gonna be in the game in crunch time every time. JB likes calling clear outs for him in crunch time, whether its at the end of the half or the end of the game. He made the 1 at the end of the half last nite, and got 2 good looks late in regulation that ill take my chances with most times. Its gonna come down to triche or scoop. Was very happy to see triche last nite, after the gtown game i thought jb was gonna be stubborn with scoop and stick with the senior who he trusts more whether its good scoop or bad scoop. Bad scoop almost cost us the gtown game, and i doubt we come back from 5 down last nite with bad scoop.
It's all situational, and it isn't a slight on any of the players. Having three great backcourt players like this is a tremendous luxury--and finding minutes for them is a great "problem" to have.
Amen. This is exactly why we shouldn't see another "...I can't believe that XXX guard wasn't playing at the end of the game..." thread for the rest of the season.
There have been games where Scoop was the guy on the bench. There have been games where Triche has been the guy on the bench. And there have been games where Dion was the guy on the bench.

We shouldn't but what are the odds? This is exactly why we shouldn't see another "...I can't believe that XXX guard wasn't playing at the end of the game..." thread for the rest of the season.

no second-guessing and saying that guard XYZ played "like ass"?
I could tell it was a favorite . . . Are there other questionable choices you have made?LOL. Hey, that's one of my favorite sayings. It only means someone didn't play well, which Dion and Scoop, especially Scoop, didn't in the 2nd half of the GTown game. Even JB "kinda" agrees and "kinda" second guessed himself.

Dion has sat several times at in the game due to his poor play.
