Ohhhh boy.
I'll bite.
So what started the mess?
Right. Bookend nationally televised disasters and undeniably horrible losses to Temple and Rutgirls-level teams. Auto crash results followed by a rushed catastrophic hire in GRob.
Let's not pretend that P did not need to go. And with that - oy - I helped takes us there on this thread.

"There's a lot of sentiment in the town about, oh, we're so tired about Pasqualoni. She asks me, 'Well, what do you think?' " Gross said Wednesday night.
"I go, 'Well, my thought is he's in a bowl game. They tied for the conference championship. I'm sure they're going to compete. Whether they win or lose, sounds like, you know, they're moving in the right direction. There's something to work with.'
"Besides, it's late. You're in December. If you're going to do a football search, you have to do the search around Thanksgiving. Everything has to start by that time. It's like a rule of thumb. It's AD 101."
Gross described the feeling around Pasqualoni as "a lot of crescendo" toward making a change.
"I wasn't here, so I wasn't around it, but people were, you know, it's one of those be careful what you ask for situations," Gross said. "And Paul was a great coach, but I guess the bell curve had started going back down. It had peaked."
Gross cited inconsistent play, declining attendance and a prolonged absence from the national stage as reasons for the decision.
This has always been my point, not that P was let go, but that it was done for stupid reasons, on an impulse decisions, at a really bad time.
The issue has never been the Who, it's been the When, Why, and How.
So yeah that decision has been what's started this mess.
