The way I see it, the VT and UNLV games were coin flips at the end also, so it all evened out going 2-2.

Yup...7 win team with short losses to Wake and Duke coming off a bye. Can't think we're all that better than them.
They have nothing like our offense. But I expect a game much like the one we just played.

If we bring our C game like we did against Stanford we can absolutely lose.

Yup. They have an experienced coach who had two weeks to prepare for our game. Regional rival.
This game means a lot to them.
They are going to come out and be physical.

Obviously I'd like to see (and my expectation is) a good clean win against UCONN.
That said... wouldn't mind if McCord breaks both the single season passing yardage and TD pass record in that game.

Exactly. Every bad loss has been handled by a solid win the week (or so) after. I give a lot of s*** to our coaches though this is so nice to see.

I think UCONN will have problems with McCord and our receivers. We did pretty well against a good defense today.
And maybe….maybe….get Zeed back?

Yeah...and Lehigh held Holy Cross to half as many points as they scored on us.
All I'm saying is I hope the guys don't mark off UConn as a W as quickly as the fans are.
If we can beat UConn we will have hit my pre season target. I thought 7-5 would be mildly disappointing but acceptable, 8-4 would be solid, and 9 or more would be great. Let’s take care of business next week (which I don’t think will be easy) and get #8… then let’s shock Miami

I didn’t say “easy”. If we play well we’ll thump them. If we don’t, we won’t. But people shouldn’t pretend that UConn is some sleeping power. They’re not very good. They don’t beat good teams.
