I'm in a show hole, need suggestions

I honestly think that it's one of those shows that if you get it, you love it.

Which we do.
I'm gonna try again, but i think there's just something that doesn't mesh with me. Sorta like how i really like just about everyone in Parks and Rec, but don't find it to be even remotely funny or entertaining. Just one of those things.

Im trying to give shows a second chance after my Breaking Bad experience. Didn't like it after the first episode or two. Only returned to try again after all the hype, and then BOOM went the dynamite...

I think it's just your sense of humor. I LOVED Parks and Rec, and not just because Aubrey Plaza lives in my native Delaware.

I like your comparison of the two shows, though. Hey, what can I say? I'm WEIRD.

Dude. I grew up in Hockessin. Didn't know Plaza lives there. [Just read she lives in LA, but is from Wilmington.] That's weird. Might explain why the algorithms always pop her up in my Youtube and Pinterest feeds. Which also means the algorithms have too much information, since i'm not clicking on Aubrey Plaza or Delaware content...

Cool! Plaza is always shouting out Delaware. She's even showed up at concerts at our local venue to support people who she knew growing up.

Gomez just hit billionaire status (mostly to do with beauty line) so I have a hard time knocking her. And she has lupus. She’s come a long way since Barney.

Started watching Endeavour, which is a prequel to the Inspector Morse series, which I haven't watched.

I really like it--an interesting lead character with a superb supporting cast. The mysteries reward those who pay close attention. I wouldn't necessarily call it a binge-watch in the sense that each show is a jewel-box unto itself, and deserves to be savored.

It's on Prime. You might want to check it out.

Started this show last week and I'm hooked. Seven episodes in so far.
Yeah it’s too good. Colin Robinson is a great character. Love Matt Berry (the actor) as well - for short fun check out these actors (including Berry) reading letters as performance:

The Diplomat — season 2. More of the same.
Bad Sisters — season 2. More of the same.
Lioness — season 2. Somehow manages to be both smart and dumb. Alternating.
Dune — season 1. Not sure afte just one episode, but somehow, even though I love the whole Dune aesthetic, everything produced under that umbrella kinda bores me. And I love sci-fi.

What We Do in the Shadows is back and just as good (based on S6E1).

Been watching Dark Winds on Netflix and enjoyed the first season. Nice drama with supernatural elements to it.
I guess I need to try this. I thought I had but I don’t remember anything specific. I loved Jemaine Clement and Kristen Schaal from Flight of the Conchirds.

Finished Lincoln Lawyer, a fan of Connelly books and the Bosch stuff

Have read some Cross books so watching that now. Enjoyed Hodge on Leverage

Finished Tulsa King Season 2
Finished the Old Man season 2.

waiting on Rogue Heroes season 2. and the Night agent

Lioness will be the next one

Lidia Poet just came back I think

PBS shows starting up in Jan All Creatures, Miss Scarlet

I watched Yellowjackets season 1 on Netflix. Can't go wrong with "plane crash survivors experience weird stuff" genre.

"Say Nothing" on Hulu is fantastic although I found one episode hard to stomach. It's about the Troubles in Northern Ireland and based on a phenomenal book of the same name/title. Prolly the best book I've read in the past five years or so. Couldn't put it down.

Also on my list!

Finally watched Shogun. Was as great as everyone had said.

Other recently finished. I think you should leave on Netflix. Completely stupid, Completely hilarious sketch comedy show. 15-20 minute episodes.

Breath of Fire on Max. About a yoga cult for the Instagram folks. Interesting in the same way as most cult things.

Yeah, I didn't realize the Aubrey connection to Delaware either. I grew up in Dover, went to high school in Newark.

As for shows, I just finished Bloodline. Overall, I really liked it. Season 1 flew by and half of season 2. Season 3 took me a while to finish. I wouldn't say it's slow, it just gets really heavy so I had to be in the right mood to watch it. Now I'm looking for my next show. Say Nothing looks interesting.
