I'm in a show hole, need suggestions

Just watched the first two episodes of the new series with Ted Danson on Netflix. So far, so good and you would probably like it if you like Ted Danson or were old. LOL!!!

I've started watching Heels on Netflix. It's about a family that runs an independent wrestling league in a small town in Georgia. It's weirdly engaging.

I binged it in two days and thought it was terrific. Not in the age demographic but I will watch anything Michael Schur creates or touches. Danson gave a great performance.

Yes, I believe it's only eight episodes and the first two were only 28 minutes each. So, a real quick watch.

If you like weirdly engaging, watch "It's Florida, Man" on HBO Max. I've only watched the first episode so far because it's definitely more weird than engaging. But, after watching one, I was like, what the heck did I just watch. Whoa.

Did people like Tulsa King (2nd season)? I liked the first season, largely because I grew up with Stallone (i.e. Rocky, Rambo, etc.). I was excited to begin the second season but I found myself losing interest in the 1st episode. It may have just been my mood but it was getting a little cutesy with Stallone, being a tough guy at 70 something years of age. Is it worth giving a shot again?

I saw no difference in yr 1 or 2 of Tulsa. First year was more about getting his crew together. 2nd yr more about holding on. A few twists for sure.

Loved it. The Toes and Gator episodes are absolutely bonkers.

Anyone on Landman yet?
On the list to watch. The Agency is for sure next and then will be between Landman or the Dune series on HBO.

Also not sure if anyone has ever mentioned Somwbody, Somewhere but is on HBO and in season 3 and I have really liked every bit of it.

I'll second Somebody, Somewhere. Quirky, but entertaining. Very likeable characters. Only watched the first season, so far.

Sadly, it was not renewed this time around. Looks like this week’s episode will be the last.

Black Doves —Keira Knightley on Netflix. I’m still interested after episode 1.

The Diplomat — I was sad to have finished season 2. Looking forward to the next.

I love Danson. I still watch Cheers every night as I fall asleep and his role on Bored to Death is my favorite. Don’t love this show, though. It’s a bit too silly, just the premise—though I definitely like silly stuff. Just not this concept. And it’s a bit sad, though the overall warmth makes up for it a bit. Worth a look. But more melancholic than funny for me.

Currently middle of season 3 of lost.
I started it when I was in high school seems I got through a lot of season 2 sine I remember it. I am enjoying all this nostalgia/Deja vu.

I know the ending got a bad rap hoping I won’t be too letdown.

Every episode is a new question. Seems like they don’t answer enough to make up for the more they make.

Also watching it with a co worker so we’re going though all our theories and guesses it’s keeping us occupied for a lot of the night.

Back in the era when it was originally aired, it got kinda deep, with websites postulating and theorizing and relating various books and philosophers. The discussion was deeper than the actual show. Good stuff for a while. Now I’m getting nostalgic—might have to re-watch. Up to a point. There’s definitely a point when it gets more frustrating than rewarding. Like Mad Men….

The Kings of Tupelo is wild. [Netflix]

Elvis. Severed heads. Conspiracies. Karate. Ricin.…

There‘s a lot of Danny McBride vibes in this documentary (Foot Fist Way/Eastbound & Down). It’s craaaazy.

I used to write for a fairly popular Lost fan blog and was even quoted once in Entertainment Weekly. I've thought about rewatching it but am still bitter about the ending, but moreso angry at the segment of fans that responded to other fans disappointment with "lol you just didn't understand it."

I understand it. It sucked and honestly was insulting.
