If we have a home playoff game the crowd will arrive early and be ready. When we had 35,000 for hoops, the backcourt was full an hour before the game started.

Despite the low prices, they make a ton of money off the concessions because of more volume. Driving more purchases which leads to higher volume and leads to other spending, such as merchandise.
Also creates a better experience for the fans who feel they aren’t getting ripped off

I think it's great. I also suspect there's a reason why no other venues have followed this model. If it were truly making a ton of money others would try it.

Others are doing it. The new Utah hockey franchise, Atlanta Hawks, etc.

I was at a Hawks game a couple weeks ago and didn't see low prices there, FWIW.

Maybe it was at a certain stand, or it's a plan or something. I walked the concourse and didn't see anything.

If you are not going to offer food options and you are not going to use the huge TVS and the Band is not going to play what reason do people have to get to their seats early?

We could do cool laser shows now, we could do retro videos, we could show ACC pregame show, lots of reasons to get to your seats if something was going on,

Agree with the overall point of something like that, but that one and a lot of others are done by drones, so they’d have to come up with something else like what’s done in hockey arenas being indoors.
