Yeah, he absolutely was grabbed. How about the no call on the Riley on third down in the fourth quarter. I was listening to the Clemson radio broadcast and after that play they said they got away with one.
The problem with your post is you have no idea what OL player it was called on. It was on conway who was > 6 yds downfield amc it wss obvious.
That was a penalty and it might be the costliest in Syracuse football history. At least I can’t think of one that cost us more. Anyone?
#2 would be the pass interference agains Tennessee.
I'm more than a little miffed to get a flag on that play, in that moment, on the road against that opponent when there are so many plays in a game that could be flagged that don't.
Now I know u r as old as me,an undisciplined P&D team getting a celebration penalty after making an epic comeback in the Dome vs. Oklahoma in 1994. Sooners took the extra yards and promptly kicked the game winning FG.
I don't want my head to go there, but yeah, during the game I absolutely had the realization that us winning this game would have been bad for the ACC.Swofford
1 No question it was a good call
2 It was a brilliant play call
3 Dino is a player's coach
Lots of single plays that could have changed the outcome of the game. That's football.

Yeah, I had a problem with it.He was three yards past los when ball was released. He moved further when soft pass was in the air. Horseshart call
We got called for it too. It's the right call but I'm not a fan.Yeah, I had a problem with it.

That was an incredibly stupid call too. Our player was running off the field with his arm up to the crowd, and that’s when the ref threw the flag. Completely uncalled for.
I don’t miss that about that era. Some miserable old ahole refs making completely arbitrary decisions to decide the winner of a game because there was “too much celebrating”.
3:30 mark. Felt like watching a crooked cop toss a bag of crack into someone they dislike’s vehicle.
It's a call that they flag when they look for it.
Agreed. We haven't been the beneficiary of a single call this year.Much like holding calls too.
Yeah, and the ref was right in front of him. I thought it was pretty clear on the replay.I had the wrong name, (they may have said it was 'Adams' on the radio). I did see the replay and the guy went downfield but I could not tell how far as the shot was from behind the formation. I thought he made contact with the guy and was thus "blocking". Several posters have said he whiffed, so i will accept that. I don't think there's any question that was the key play of the game. We would have kept the ball for another down series and taken more time off the clock at least. they scored with 41 seconds left.
The penalty I believe was on Conway. and he was more than 3 yards downfield and not in contact with any Tiger[/QUOTEit was Conway he should know better.
No.1 was the phantom roughing the kicker call against Notre Dame after a missed kick and time had expired, back in the day. That was a penalty and it might be the costliest in Syracuse football history. At least I can’t think of one that cost us more. Anyone?

Dude! He DID NOT whiff on that block! JHC! Anybody with any eye sight at all can tell that! Total hose job as it would have setup at least a field goal attempt and much less time available to Clemson. Horse manure call. Period. For people who have a problem with the call:
Conway is at the same hash mark as Hackett.
