Is the proverbial shoe about to drop on college basketball royalty?

Beyond the taxes, I believe I remember reading somewhere when this first came out that Adidas was essentially hiding money from investors to use for these off-the-books exchanges, which would be an SEC violation.

yea, but i'm not talking about Adidas. I'm saying if its not about the sneaker companies, the fbi probably isn't sniffing around. that's another can of worms that could take years.

I agree that the New York FBI branch is a recovering disaster. But things are getting better. And the morale overall is as good as it can be when you have a ignorant president knocking them every day for doing their job. This is the wrong board for this but some trues need to be told. We both know that nothing could be done with this guy until he actually did something. We don't live in Russia, yet.

I agree that this is the wrong board for this discussion and since I'm not interested in wading into the cesspool that is the other board I'll let you have the last word on the issue.

What scares me about Fab is that is his final 2 were us and Louisville.
We know Louisville paid under Pitino what made Fab pick SU?

Good point

We didn’t get any super studs or anything like that. And if we did pay then shame on us!

Don't see DC2s name thrown around too much. Was he a lock for Cuse?

local kid. I don't see a problem there.

We haven't had luck with local kids too much so I don't think that's 100 percent valid.

If he was a heavy lean all the way then it wouldn't worry me, but if UK is paying and we're not, tough to choose Cuse even without the money let alone one paying and one not.

This recently reported info is that the FBI has piles of evidence from their investigation and there’s a lot of players and schools as bycatch. The evidence is not public information due to the soon to be happening trials. My guess is that when this is released the NCAA will have to do a lot of dancing.

I don’t think this info drop has anything to do with the end of the season. Just more people getting eyes on what the FBI has accumulated.

I believe Dajuan mentioned his mom being offered a house by UK.

yea something came out from dajuan or a coach saying dajuan was offered something by uk.

The one thing I don't get is, since they don't care, why are they waiting until the end of the season to release what they have found?
Probably, because they aren’t finished yet.

A big contributing factor to DC not going to UK was the fact they said he would not have to take classes there and he took that personally. He left Syracuse with a grad degree. He’s more educated than most people that post on this board.

I can confirm that. He really felt slighted as a person by UK's offer. The kid really turned it on late in HS, and became a good student.

There is ZERO tolerance for political discussion anywhere but the OT board.

Such posts will be terminated with extreme prejudice.
They shouldn’t be allowed on the OT board either. I think i can speak for a lot of people and say some of the posters there look BAD!
