We have not really seen some of the wrs. There is Hatcher and Brown. You have Alford at 6’6. Clearly the coaches think they are not ready. However I’d rather throw to 6’3, 6’4 and 6’6 versus 6’0, 5’10 and 5’10.

Not accurate, Alford will be a good player for us, contribute this year in spots(like vt and Saturday), next two years watch out.

Johnson is another example of how system fits can be more beneficial. P5 transfers raises eyebrow but they dont guarantee anything. Cant just look at the school they come from. Props to the staff for finding him and coaching him up.

Why do we need DT's. We have Lockett, Darton, Fuentes Bassette. 2 soph's, 2 freshmans. Plus Perry who may play there.

I don't know...depth? Seems to be an issue at the moment. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail and we shouldn't need freshmen playing especially considering we don't bring in 5 star guys that don't need developing to be ready?

Failed to prepare? We are 4th in the conference in rush defense. They are all young and coming back next year. Thats 4 deep at one position and that's not including Hough or Perry. I dont see a scholarship available for a DT transfer.

Well hopefully our young guys are ready to go next year. Lockett got hurt, Darton is undersized and doing great but is more likely to get hurt due to his size. I would rather have a experienced guy ready to compete and give our younger guys more time to develop. Definitely don't want to be in a position where we need a converted RB coming off a serious injury to anchor the DL.
