It's Fine to be back

Got a call today from SU telling me I'm good to go in the Fine lot again this year. Just need to renew my Orange Club membership before the end of the month.

I was a little concerned because of the law building deal.

Anyone else hear anything?

Cuseregular heard positive he is Fine. I haven't received a call yet. Apparently a few people in the Fine Lot will get bumped. If you do contact ReedNY or myself and we might be able to help.

yep apparently I made the cut. I think my club 44 membership may have come in handy with this possibly. She said I'd need to do the same with the donation, which I think I already did. Need to check on that to be sure they don't double dip.

Got a call yesterday to from SU who indicated I also made the cut for the Fine lot. I think those of us who have been there for 4-5 years + were given some priority (thank god). I dont believe SU asked for the Orange Pack donation yet due to the issue with the parking lot being unresolved because apparently the woman indicated if I was still interested in the fine lot (why I wouldnt I be) the orange pack payment was now due. Mark if you havent gotten a call by Friday I would suggest calling SU I got the picture the Lot is definitely over its limit and some people are going to be assigned another A level lot. I think you should be fine though we have about the same number of years in the lot.

I called to check and was told those who are preferred seating and have an A zone pass will keep their lot. Those in an A lot but who do not donate may or may not make the cut and will receive a call.

Hmmm that seems to be an odd statement as to be in an A zone Lot you have to donate I believe (extreme can you confirm?). My seats are right outside the preferred area and I got my call yesterday. I have however been donating and paying for the fine lot for about 5 years now so perhaps that helped my cause.

Not everyone in that lot is preferred seating. Those are guaranteed to keep their lot and will not receive a call. Everyone had to pay for the lot to park there. Donations to the program without being a preferred seat donor I am sure got first dibs after that.

You have to donate at least $125 to the OC to be eligible for a Zone A lot. The minimum contribution for Preferred D seating is $165 per ticket.

You can have a Fine pass without being a preferred season ticket holder. For a little while longer anyways.

No no no. You misunderstood. I will not be getting a call because I am preferred. I called them out of curiosity because of this thread. They are only calling non-preferred to see who still wants their lot. Then they will compare demand to availability and go from there.

Ah thats right forgot you were preffered. The woman from SU made it sound like that if I was interested I was locked into the Fine Lot apparently my father asked a couple times and she kept saying Yes we were all set, so is that not the case?

Also with preferred they already know how many are keeping their passes because we already paid for them a while back.
