It's showtime -- let the (NBA) games begin!

There was a play very early in game 4 where the defender(forget who) ran right into Curry near half court and knocked the ball away, with no call. Curry was just bringing the ball up and it was like a straight up collision!

Soon as they didn't call that, I had a feeling what we were in for. That crew had a horrid game last night.

Marc Davis was voted one of the worst officials in the league by the players. He stinks. Shouldn't have the finals. It also was John Gobles first NBA finals. He obviously wasn't ready for it and Mike Callahan has now officiated 12 straight Cav wins including 3 against the Warriors. I wish I knew that ahead of time as I would have put money on the Cavs.

That being said you probably see Ken Mauer and Danny Crawford in game 5 just to calm things down.

Good info there.

Another play that stood out to me was Kyrie's foul on KD going in for a dunk. How is that not a flagrant? There was no play on the ball and it was dangerous.

Botching the technicals with Green...and ignoring him dropping an atomic elbow on that one play where he went for the shot fake, basically all the Warriors good players having 2 fouls in the first quarter...they were very bad. They had an enormous impact on the game right from the start, and then they completely lost control of the game. Constant interruptions, replays, changing technicals, etc. Wow. Not a good look at all.

My take on the Green techs (and you're right, they should have looked at the Green elbow; I guess the out was they actually called Livingston for the foul?) is that in the end, I'm glad he stayed in the game, because to get t'd up twice for those reactions would have been bogus, but they still screwed it up really bad.

Here's a hot take I don't actually believe but I'm gonna say it anyway: There was a story out the last few days saying the salary cap could be lower by a million or so if this series was swept due to the loss in revenue; so Steph is going to throw the next 2 games to make it 7 so his next contract is a few million larger.

Cavs need Kyrie to score 35+ and Love to hit at least four threes for them to win in Oracle.

You expect a drop in production from the role players being on the road.

They also have to figure out how to rest LeBron. They have to be up 10 to even think of giving him a one minute blow.

Green was very lucky they didn't call either of the flagrant fouls. GSW could have had Zaza out for the punch and Green out for the 2 flagrants (I believe it's a game suspension).

There is no way there would be a conspiracy like that.

The number of people to coordinate these things, plus the likely nullification of the tv deal plus the monumental bad press would sink the league. Not counting the jail time that would be involved.

Not saying you are alleging it's true. There is just way too much at stake. Plus the ratings for the Finals have been fantastic. The top three stars in the league are featured.

Will be intriguing to see if Kyrie can keep this torrid offensive pace
His outside shooting is what stood out for me last night. His drives are always insane, but he was hot as hell behind the 3 line. I've not seen him shoot like that in this or the Boston series. If he can continue to shoot like that, he'll be the best offensive player on the floor.

Which comment are you talking about? The Steph throwing the games or the Dray thing? Just so I'm clear, the Steph thing was obviously tongue in cheek. There's no chance he;s throwing the games and I don;t think anyone is seriously suggesting it.

That's the thing about Kyrie. One night he can look like prime Kobe and the next night he can look like he's throwing the series away.

Golden State closes it out. The Cavs aren't shooting this well in game 5.

If I am the Warriors I gameplan for Kyrie and let LeBron is getting his.

I don't think it matters if you gameplan for him. When he gets going it's amazing

You don't think Klays defense had anything to do with him being bad in games 1 and 2?

I did for sure. But my point is when he gets going, he is freaking going. We will know how the game goes from the first three possessions imo.

Read it too fast! Thought you were talking about the refs.

Yeah. Obviously in agreement re Steph.

How is Durant listed at 6'10"?

He looks 6'8 or 6'9

Do you really not understand how the angle of that photo is affecting your typically skewed perspective?

More importantly, I never noticed Durant's bald spot.

Between Durant and LeBron, you barely have one full head of hair. Love LBJ, but he's working way too hard to cover up the erosion up top.

When Alsacs was a kid they didn't have photographs
I think Durant is 6'10 now that actually looked at other photos online.
Guy is trying to rile me up but I get plenty wrong so oh well.
