It's showtime -- let the (NBA) games begin!

If this travesty continues, it will just make game 5 exponentially worse to make up for it.

The NBA playoff officiating has always been a joke. There is no other sport where playoff teams get blatantly preferential calls in favor of the home team.

Can you imagine if that happened in the NFL? There would be riots in the streets--literally. Nobody would stand for it. Can you imagine an MLB umpire calling things differently for one team vs. the other? It's goofy.

I think Durant is 6'10 now that actually looked at other photos online.
Guy is trying to rile me up but I get plenty wrong so oh well.

So you are going to discount the fact that LeBron is actually looking up in the photo you posted. Or did you not notice that.

I'm not trying to rile you up. You get riled up by everything and everyone.

Score predictions tonight?

Warriors by 35.

Yeah, I know I said the same for Friday, but I'm really feeling it today.

J/k - I think the Warriors win what feels like a close one through 3.5 quarters, but then pull away, and the score won't reflect the battle. Warriors by 15.

This is Gordon Heyward's wife and daughter.
:noidea:

Could be nothing. If it means something, that would be a very weird way to express it. Hayward's been very guarded. If the Celtics are his plan, this would be a very careless way to make it known.

I agree. It's just she deleted a half an hour later.

The Quinn Snyder podcast with the Vertical was more telling. He basically said it was 50/50 Heyward would be back and the Jazz have plans ready if he moves on.

Probably deleted it because people started freaking out about it and jumping to crazy conclusions.

Steph needs to play better. Just like last year the physicality got to him.

Draymond also needs to stop being an idiot but we all know that isn't happening.

Durant scores 40.

The physicality allowed in Cleveland was ridiculously slanted against Steph. That doesn't happen in Oakland.

i really doubt Heyward has already decided he's going to sign with Boston. Could he be leaning towards leaving? Sure, but it's not like he's met with Boston or any of the other teams that would want him.

Guys... Hayward*

That's been annoying me
Hayward's free agency will definitely be interesting.

He's said what he cares about is winning. It looks like he's in good position to do that with Jazz, but if a title is the ultimate goal the Warriors sure look to be in the way. For the Jazz to improve next season, they need a firm commitment from Hayward early. It's in his best interests to go that route if he wants to win and he can do that with the Jazz.

So he could delay potential meetups with the Warriors by one round by going to Miami/Riley, because they've proven they can get over the hump, or the Celtics/Ainge, because they're in prime position to compete for a long time depending on the choices they make. This all assumes that you can get by Lebron.

He's a big domino.

In the last 7 Warriors-Cavs games the Warriors are 0-3 when Mike Callaghan referees the game. The Warriors are 4-0 when Callaghan is not one of the refs.

Callahan reffed this years Christmas game, game 4 this year, game 6 last year's Finals.

If I am the Warriors, I let LeBron beat you by scoring. The second you help on him he find the open man and it's usually Love or Smith from 3. With Kyrie, just need to make it as difficult as possible for him to score. Live with tough 2s against wide open 3s. Similar game plan for Cleveland I would imagine. Shumpert and Jefferson are pretty much just on this roster to flail around like morons and draw fouls and bother GS.

Wouldn't surprised at all to see that idiot Green get another tech either.

Yep saw that yesterday. Wish I knew ahead of time to bet on Cleveland.

That seems a little bit like cherry picking stats because he conveniently leaves off where Cavs won G5 and G6 last year with I'm guessing different officials. So I could say last 10 times the teams played it's split 5-5, with 40% of Cavs wins coming without him reffing and they're an open Korver 3 away from taking 6 of the last 10 with half the wins being without him reffing. Broader point is it's easy to massage stats.

Before the series started I thought Cavs needed to win all 3 at home and then maybe G7 anything can happen. I just don't think Cavs can beat GS at their place this year.

For Cavs to win in GS they need LeBron and Kyrie to have huge scoring nights, their group of shooters to all show up to make GSW pay when they collapse on KI or LeBron, TT and Love to dominate the glass and hope a combination of KD/Curry/Thompson/Green have bad nights. That's a lot of "and"'s so I don't know.

Agree with your premise, but I think it 0-4 now for the Warriors. I believe it was 0-3 before game 4.

True. Gotta figure James will be around 30 with 10 and 10 again.

Similar things were said last year though. Granted no Durant, green suspended, and curry banged up with knee issues. I suppose that's sort of a big difference..

The NBA had to find a way to ensure the series wouldn't just be 4 games I guess. #sternwinsagain
