I could care less at this point what Syracuse does with it’s football program. It gets harder and harder for me to dedicate 4 hours on a Saturday to watch anyways. But my point is that if as well respected of a coach as Babers can’t turn this around who will? He has the system and he is getting national rep. He deserves a decade to fix this thing. He walks away and we are getting our own version of the Rutgers coach.

It’s because now it’s year 3 and the running game just isn’t working. They need to redesign it and get better players involved.

Well we gave up 300 yds rushing despite Clemson being down to its 3rd string QB for most of the game, we have different definitions of being run over.

We have gotten run over the last 2 weeks when our opponent basically said, here it comes, stop it...thats the disturbing part.

I’ll hold off until he has LB’s that are adequate. What can he do with adequate horses? We’ll see. We haven’t really had enough of them yet.

We all knew the LB’s might be suspect this year. When one unit is really getting taken advantage of, it’s tough.

That's where the scheme scares me bc this scheme asks alot of the backers and we have only seen it have success at the oro level. Last year we had lbs that could fill a hole and run sideline to sideline in run support but didn't cover in space too well. This year, we have even smaller lbs that play a bit better in space but take bad angles and are poor tacklers in the run game. This scheme demands both skills, all skills from our backers...

Awfully young players to say they’re a “whiff”.

I remember when our talented 1993 team was undone at least in part from poor LB play from an extremely young group. Some of them formed a pretty solid group a few years later.

I dont necessarily disagree but Ward has struggled since day 1, the last two games are the last straw for me. Both Clemson and Pitt were beyond one demetianal and we got gashed like we were playing Alabama. I respect and like u as a poster but its clear to me that Ward is simply over his head. It's one thing to get run over by a top 5 Clemson team with Feaster but Pitt has been awful this year and that performance was abysmal. A change is needed, asap.

Clemson might be better than Alabama running the ball. Today’s performance sucked against the run.

A change is not needed. We are breaking in two LB and a freshman S. It happens.

Our pass D has been very good after struggling the past two years.
