conference tournaments are just money grabs and a chance for a desperado teams to win the lottery. that said, the reasons for cancelling this are knee-jerk.

It's only a 4 team tournament. And the Ivies have only had a post-season tournament since 2017 anyways. Before that the regular season champ got the AQ.

They also have more money than most ‘regular’ conferences, so they should be able to handle whatever losses this cancellation causes.

Ivy League should just suspend all basketball play and decline to partcipate in the NCAAT.. Why put its champion at risk in the NCAAT.

There will be more people at the NCAAT site then would have been in Cambridge.
