Read it again. I went back and fixed it. I used the microphone and at times mistakes are made so why don't you relax and stop being a jerk off
I'm perfectly calm

Pimping his assistant coaches out for new jobs and bringing in a recruiter/ possible head coach.

Yeah, I don't see "Captain Coasting" doing freaking anything until they wheel him out of there.

Stasis is his natural state, at this point.

JB hires all Syracuse guys, he doesn’t do his due diligence. Should be the best man for the job who brings in something different everyone can learn from. Instead we get Syracuse guys who are inexperienced and learn on the job costing us good recruits in the meantime .

I mean, at least hire an AAU or Prep coach to get some juice into the recruiting.

This is pathetic. We've uncovered some talented guys who were undervalued, but we've not been getting those guys in the 30-60 spots in the rankings, like we usually get a couple of. (Or used to ...)

Those guys don't leave 1-and-done. They stick around 2 years. We used to hope for 3, but it never seems to work out that way anymore.

We're missing out on 2 of those guys in every class, along with the one big name per class not arriving more often than not lately: Thomas Bryant, Isaiah Stewart, Quade Green, the big kid from Oak Hill, Billy something, Bazely, the one who went D League. Chris McCullouch, the one who only played 9 games before going to the NBA, and several more - not just "pipe dream" guys, but the guys you are supposedly building a class around, using to bring together other recruits, and then suddenly NONE of them - except maybe the less talented friend of your target - winds up on campus, and we get a European guy, a guy with G5 offers and a late transfer instead.

Woo hoo! Rinse and repeat.

I agree 144%. Bernie gets WAAAAAY too much credit for Rony, Etan, etc.

They were elite athletes who needed to develop the skills.
And did the work required to do so.

Feel like that woulda happened regardless of who the "big man coach" was for them.

I disagree about both players. Seikaly was like freshman year Melo when Rony was a frosh. Etan also fouled constantly as a frosh. I think he fouled out in 5 minutes in the first half against Georgetown, didn't he?

So, I think the big man coach deserves credit for teaching them both much better footwork. If it were so easy to do, then why haven't more of our centers been that good? Lack of talent? Because Coleman and Rak were both 5 stars, or borderline 5 stars near the top of their classes.

Sure, Coleman got hurt, but he never impressed us before his knees had no cartilege left in them.

And if Rak was such a talent, why did we only get 1 good year out of him offensively?
