We shot 35% from 3 this year. I think next year can be higher with a full season of a Covid-less Buddy pushing 40% instead of 38%, Swider Pushing 40%, and better shot selection/overall improvement from Joe. Asking Joe to go from 33 to 35% shouldn't be too hard to ask. Benny/Jimmy/whoever else are wildcards.

I'm sure people won't be happy with Joe if he gets to that percentage though. That's what Cooney/Mali shot in 2016.

Not sure if it makes sense to hope for all these micro-improvements from 3. Don't many college players, including top ones, experience declines in %? Good shooting teams from 3 still tend to flame out before winning 6 straight in March. Threes at a high % over a whole season are gravy. Everything else seems so much more important.

I get the point your trying to make and the whole coaches kid thing makes some of the stuff said pretty bad...but our fans are no worse then other schools. Its all the same stuff when you look at all of these schools fan bases and the things said. Social media and sports really show how many idiots are out there but we aren’t that bad. Theres plenty worse...but yea it definitely wouldnt be easy having one let alone two kids on the team who's dad is the head coach.

People I think picked on Triche sometimes bc of his demeanor and lack of aggression some games when he would clearly show how dominant he could be at times when locked in. I dont buy the “local”’thing at all

You examples suggest you think that our fans are "brutally vicious" to some white kids. Trevor Cooney comes immediately to mind ... along with your examples. What a crazy dynamic.
