What did fans think of Josh Wright?

i have receipts
so do E.J. Liddell and dozens of players from other schools. And their receipts - coming from the sources - carry a lot more weight than yours do.

my receipts are posts on this site. Deleted and not deleted. I don’t care about others places. The word “worse” doesn’t have to be an absolute. Some of our fans, the dirty dozen, are the worst.

In this instance, it absolutely was an absolute.

I don't want to go down a censorship rabbit hole but I do appreciate the staff weeding out the bs that gets posted here. The stupidity and over the top negativity is a Twitter thing. Its nice to come here and have actual conversations with actual fans and get insight from sourced posters or people who just know the game of basketball.

Litigating which fanbase has the worst fans is silly but we certainly have our share of brainless ones. If I was a player I wouldn't be on social media or somebody would be handing out blocks for me like candy. Lol

I’ll add “one of”, better? And I do visit a handful of other teams sites. And I’ve never seen any player taking the beating some of ours have consistently for so long. But maybe if those sites are moderated well I just don’t see them.

Any online abuse directed at a player should be snuffed out, imo. The whole playing time issue with Kadary, for example, should not have made Joe the scapegoat. It's on the coach to manage the roster.

that’s rich

yes, there are receipts about posts that have been made on this site. Reported elsewhere, if I recall.

You examples suggest you think that our fans are "brutally vicious" to some white kids. Trevor Cooney comes immediately to mind ... along with your examples. What a crazy dynamic.
Those were the locals who came to my mind. Your additional example certainly gives pause.

There is no way for you to have done a full social listening and analysis on all of social media to make this statement.

This is your opinion and not fact.
Well, some opinions are based on more facts than others. Of course, that’s just my opinion.

If I might, I would like to get back to Jimmy...

I know a number of well placed and respected sources have been saying Jimmy is going to play for Syracuse.

I see don't see it. I have no sources. I just think Jimmy has to have a number of attractive options here, some of which he will likely get a lot more playing time than he would at Syracuse.

I would think after being 'the man' at Cornell, it would be very hard for him to move to a small role at Syracuse. From all accounts, he is very competitive and confident but why choose a school where the best case scenario is a role as the 3rd forward?

And if he was seriously thinking about Syracuse, why not wait until Quincy announced his decision, so he would better understand what his role with Syracuse would be?

Being JB's son, he might have advance info on what Q is going to do (though I suspect Quincy truly hasn't made up his mind and probably won't until he has a chance to work out with some NBA teams).

So the fact Jimmy's announcement is imminent makes me hold my ground. I still think he is going somewhere other than Syracuse. A place where he will be a starter and a key player on the team.

(Jimmy, this is your queue to make your announcement for Syracuse, and make me look bad).

Maybe he wants the once in a lifetime opportunity to play for his Dad alongside his brother?
