The bottom five ex Clemson would make sense. If he can get into Stanford he should make that move ASAP. I think a decent mid-major would be his best bet.

Doubt he could play for McDermott.Creighton Colgate good fits
I assume academics will be a part of his decision if the rumors that he had been accepted to Newhouse for grad school are true. Maybe Northwestern or one of the Ivys.. UVA, Duke Georgetown, Vanderbilt...something along those lines.
Billy DonovanAh, I dunno. The list of Rick Pitino players who his game resembles is...short.
Stanford and Indiana have the best journalism schools in that list. He got into Newhouse for grad school, I bet he goes to a place with a great J schoolThe bottom five ex Clemson would make sense. We're gonna miss him when he's gone,Not a bad day for Joe.
I miss him, wasn’t a fan of his fit here at all, like legit the worst fit for the zone we’ve ever seen, but yeah, I’ll miss him. Wish he was that 4th option playing 20-30 minutes a game, if he had a smaller role here I think he’d be a living legend and we’d be talking about hoisting his jersey. We're gonna miss him when he's gone,
All the best to him. I always liked Joe. Wish the roster had been far better constructed so he could have flourished in the right role.
Stanford
He was always going to be limited due to his lack of athleticism. He did get the most out of it.I think Joe's legacy is tarnished because of misuse of him by Boeheim. He would have been a better player with a more suitable role.
Kid never did anything but play hard and out of position. I’m sure he’ll make a ton of money after a long career overseas. Worst case he can do voice overs for radio ads. He really knocked that Romano radio ad out of the park.Sooo umm some of the responses to his tweet by our fans are at the very least very cringeworthy.
I’m sure there are plenty of P5 schools where he’d start. Let’s stop pretending he’s some 5 minute a game guy.Not to play starter's minutes
If it’s about academics, you don’t even think about it and you go Stanford. He already has the Newhouse undergrad and that is really all that matters. Get a Stanford degree and be set in just about any other field.Stanford and Indiana have the best journalism schools in that list. so in short, there are p5 teams he could start for. That was all I was sayingIt all depends on the school, and what his goals are.
After 4 years with only a Sweet 16 to show for it, maybe he would be willing to be a 3rd guard for a team in the top 4 of one of the P5 conferences. That might work out to 20 minutes a game as a combo guard, and he might do really well, surrounded by other good players, where he wasn't the focal point.
Or, if he wanted to go to a mid-level team in a P5 conference, he could start.
And on a G5 team, he could find a school where he would be "The Man."
It's all about what he's looking for. He worked hard for us. We didn't have a lot of success with him on the roster, but the kid can play.

I think next year we are going to wish we had a veteran guard that is a 3 point specialist and kind of miss Girard.
Yeah, but he shouldn't have played 39 minutes a game a couple years ago. Last year he played around 32 minutes. He was better, and so was the team.
They have Master of Arts Teaching and a make your own program for a limited number of fields.Colgate doesn’t have Masters programs right?
