Problem is, he isn’t going to get rid of him. And that much is 100000% clear.

Probably, but also hard to play defense or judge it when you’re completely inept on the offensive side of the ball. We probably have some chance in every game besides today. Took Miami a half to do anything offensively.
 
First time I am down on Fran. That was terrible, and it was all on him. I don't care if you have less talent, have a game plan, and have your kids fired up and have your kids playing hard.

Also, if you are going to play Carney at all, then playing him the entire game, enough with these two series and yank him crap. He has wasted his 4 games doing this. We have zero idea if he could play or not but I can promise you he is better than our Lacrosse player.

Eh. Like I said a couple weeks ago, it’s hard to fail at JMU. Their infrastructure is so damn good for a G6 team.

Not that Chesney is a bad coach, but I don’t know if we really understand just how good he is yet. At least not in terms of how he’ll do at the P4 level.

The guy has won everywhere he has been a head coach. Fran was never a head coach and probably wouldn’t have been one if we didn’t give him a parachute.

Everywhere is two places, right?

We won 10 games last season. No ones arguing that this year is acceptable. But the guy had unprecedented success in year 1 and is on track to produce the best recruiting class here in 30 years.

A 3rd year isn’t unreasonable, no matter how angry you are.
 
Syracuse won 10 games with Fran last year. At 3-1 this year, he was getting national attention as an up-and-coming coach.

Totally get that the way this season has played out is bad and today was unacceptable - but thinking that Fran needs to go is so asinine I’d be embarrassed to publicly state the idea if it crossed my mind for any reason. It’s a phenomenal way to make the Syracuse job completely radioactive.

70-7 on the scoreboard is the only embarrassing thing I have read today.

The effort on display today was more embarrassing than laying an egg. That was terrible I watched some of it back already and it is worse the second time. We played with zero effort the entire game. Players and coaches should be ashamed.

There's one guy on defense who I thought was borderline essential to have back next year. Based on what I saw today, it may be better if he's the first guy out the door. Maybe I'm not being level-headed. Man, that was tough to watch. I'm kinda sad.
