There is no such thing as a multi year rebuild in NCAA basketball anymore with NIL and the portal.

The new coach is getting 2-3 years to win up to the programs standards. Hopefully we can lock in someone good with only a 4-5 year offer.

things have changed a lot and a lot people are either in denial or not paying attention

Hard to imagine the university adminstration would ever go for a recently scandal-scarred guy like Sean Miller or Pitino or Will Wade.
Seems inappropriate to put them in any discussion.

Which Pitino?

I think now is the perfect time to disregard guys with scandals. Pitino I think is too old. Wade would be a legit candidate and good fit. Miller might be interested are we the biggest program and name that would realistically hire him? I just feel like he'd leave us and make a lateral move since he played for a rival.
