I know it's been asked before but the revenue lost next year from ticket, merch, and consession sales when people don't show up to the dome has got to be close to what Dino's buyout is. There needs to be some serious thought put into this move.

Joe Moorehead seems like the perfect fit here. Let's get him before another school with bigger pockets does.

Dino's offense doesn't work in a conference with good defenses. Eric made a lot of plays after play calls fell apart. The Big 12 has been all offense and no defense for quite awhile.

No offense works with the current lineup

There is no question Cuse needs a dual threat qb. If Dino can get that for next year, I think he makes it work here. We have seen this offense work when a qb can make the right calls and be a threat.

Dual thread QB's grow on trees.

But those trees don't grow in New York.

That means climbing over somebody's fence, and stealing a decent QB from their backyard.

Something we haven't had a lot of luck with recently.

I'm a Yankees fan and while they were in it, I watched but it didn't feel like the same investment, everything is too goofy. I'm usually a Masters addict but this year I didn't watch
I'm glad I can watch something but I'm trying all of it like an added bonus

It totally bails babers out though because they would've been terrible no matter what

I paid no attention to the off-season and when I say elmore penciled in on the o line, I immediately thought oh no this is not good

You need a good line, not a great one. 2012 - one pro and four other well coached tough guys.

Devito in this offense with that line would kill it, record setting, even with the WR's on the roster. Loved Jerome and PTG, but Sean Tucker is a cut above those guys.

I think the guys already on the roster can approach that level, but as a group they are unavailable.

One thing I'm certain of, the level of coaching isn't close. That has to be dealt with.

Our offense is not close enough to compete next year without major upgrades.

I have no confidence this staff can fix the offense.
Dino hired a good DC. We have some nice players on that side of the ball.

Dino needs to seriously consider a replacement there.

I still live and die on every play, not sure what's wrong with me.

Does anyone remember Dino back in late spring early summer talk about how this could be a special year. Maybe I am not remembering it right, but I remember he was very high on the talent this year. Obviously stuff happened, I'm not saying he has a full complement, but man he must not of thought they were going to play the season and could just make up stuff.

I agree though I think 2012 receivers were better and I'm not totally sold on TD, the coaching gap is massive.

The offense is missing 4 plugs on an 8 cylinder engine.

Based on what this program under Dino has been able to do with a full complement I believe that's the core issue.

Now if the issue is the timing and fuel mix the question is, is the mechanic on staff that can tune the engine. Based on the unavailability of key pieces for most of the year it's impossible to address that next order question in my opinion.

My suburban goes from 8 cylinder mode to 4 and back to 8 when it senses conditions, etc., and still functions accordingly. Too bad Dino doesn't have this feature built in also as he has been stuck in 4 cylinder mode 4 out of 5 years.

Just give Marrone the HC job if he will come back.
I wouldn’t want Dino having final say on gameplans and pissing off Marrone.

The only reasons Marrone would come back here would a HC paycheck and he loves SU.
He won’t make more than a couple hundred thousand a year as a pro position coach. With less stress as well.

It’s sad we are at the stage we need Marrone again.
