Just read Bailey's summation of the first 7 days and couldn't help but wonder what is going on with Adly Enoicy and his "undisclosed injury." It was noted that he wasn't even at practice Sunday. I may be over reacting, but I hope Tucker hasn't struck again.

You might be overreacting? Come on.

I don't mean to pick on you. However, I'm pretty sure that a player's bone could be sticking out of his leg and at least one person on this board would say, "Dr. Tucker strikes again!"

The amateur at best statement is from coyle, who has intimate knowledge of the situation. It's a looking glass, not a bubble.

Is that statement in some interview that can be referenced?

You're probably right. At least I hope you are right. But you have to admit that Tucker has been on quite a roll and no one in authority has made any move to correct it, or at least as far as we know. As each day goes by without resolution, you have to wonder who's next?

I agree. It's an absurd statement, for anyone doing their job properly. With parental info, and the former guy in charge? It's absurd that anyone has to say it. But it doesn't change the facts, that there is some absurd stuff happening, that none of us would accept from our personal MD.

It's absurd that the football staff. And players avoid the med staff, whenever possible. It's absurd to have a doc not trusted, by all those in his care. Many of us consider this absurd. Fine if you don't, but it's a bad situation, that needs to be rectified.

Wait a second. Are you actually saying that the players actively avoid the medical staff because of this? If that's true and the players don't trust the doctors, then that in itself needs to be a reason to dismiss and replace the staff. It's putting them at risk if they are under-reporting injuries to avoid the doctors. if patients have no confidence in the doctors, that has to be addressed.

Yes it is true.

That's exactly it Dash. I don't know how many times it has to be said that Tucker may not be the right guy for us but these folks make these pronouncements in a bubble and exclaim the guy is an amateur etc. it's ridiculous.

None of us are making pronouncements in a bubble, as a matter of fact, in Stephen's case we have more information from his dad and from other experts that in possibly any other case ever.

I know for a fact that Tucker discounted the findings of 3-5 specialists and experts in their field dealing with Stephen's case and he was also cleared by other team doctors. He didn't get opinions from hacks and the specialists and family has gone on record and put their names out there.

Anyone who can defend that position, please step forward.

And don't say, "nobody knows" because all I wrote above is public info and factual. We do know. Period.

players avoid DRs all over the country and not because they dont trust the staff. often they dont want to hear the message and that goes down to for all sports and all levels.

just because you work on athletics or are a DR doesnt mean you the best at what you do. you just have to hope that the people in charge recognize who is doing things right and who isnt.. there are a ton of places with people who dont really know what they are doing running the show.. as we have had 200 days to see..

Players may actively avoid him because of this. Also this history of time has people avoiding doctors because doctors do and say unpleasant things.
