Agreed. We should easily go 2-2 OOC maybe even 3-1 OOC. Because our conference is looking weak we may be able to get 2-3 ACC wins. 5-7 shouldn’t be impossible by any means, and that would be a good place to start.Sheesh, the week is almost done. Yes, we all know the Rutgers game sucked but the season is far from over and this is a down year for the ACC. Let’s ride this thing out and see what happens.
6-6 is very possible. If the offense stalls out the entire time and is reminiscent of last year, then Dino deserves to be canned. That’s it. Non stop complaining about the same things won’t do you any good.Agreed. We should easily go 2-2 OOC maybe even 3-1 OOC. Agreed. Only way would be if we change QBs and somehow the lights turn on.6-6 is very possible based on what? We scored 7 points against Rutgers. As bad as some of our upcoming opponents are none of them are worse than Rutgers. We can maybe a find a win or two in ACC play but I don’t get where the 6-6 is “very possible”?

Good on you. Yes, our collective incessant moaning and groaning isn’t going to solve any problems with the team. We know the players are playing hard. Time to support the boys and the rest of the chips will fall where they may.Sheesh, the week is almost done. There are teams with worse Ds that we will do better on O against. There are teams with much worse STs that won't have us starting in a hole. If our D plays well the Ws are possibly there. That being said I think 4-8 is what we are looking at.6-6 is very possible based on what? We scored 7 points against Rutgers. It’s possible based on the notion that maybe, just maybe, teams get better over a year? I know, such a crazy notion.6-6 is very possible based on what? We scored 7 points against Rutgers. Love the lets not complain people. Sure, let's not express our displeasure with the current situation so it allows for ADJW to justify keeping HCDB around another year to save a ton of buyout money. So if we win 4 games this year and he is retained, can we complain next year then?
I took the OP not as a "we shouldn't complain" idea, but as an "it's time to move forward" post. We should all be able to agree that at some point we need to stop complaining about the Rutgers game.Love the lets not complain people. Exactly. In a second post I did say non-stop complain does no one good. I get complaining on a board but it’s like doomsday on here.I took the OP not as a "we shouldn't complain" idea, but as an "it's time to move forward" post. I don't think it's complaining about the Rutgers game as much as it's complaining about having a single win against another P5 school in something like 21 months. You take the lack of winning and add in that Dino's offense is supposed to be fast and fun but is instead slow and terrible and it's just a combination of misery. As much as we are all excited about the D, I think a high majority of people would be more enthused if we lost on Saturday 38-35 rather than scoring 7 pts and looking embarrassing on offense.I took the OP not as a "we shouldn't complain" idea, but as an "it's time to move forward" post. Even if we get to 6-6 somehow, we should still move on. The RU game displayed a breadth and depth of head coaching incompetence that would make Terry Shea blush. Unless some really stark improvements are demonstrated, we've seen enough to know what is necessary.

It took awhile but after the 2nd bye week in 2019 the O started to look functional. Last year between Covid and Tommy getting hurt we never had a chance. Hopefully they get things to click this week.I think expecting us to “best” other teams that may have poor D’s is a little pie in the sky. I just think 6-6 based on present conditions is so far out of reach even though that sounds ridiculous. You look at how poor our offense has been run overall not just this year. What’s the change that occurs where we start putting up 30+ points. It feels a lot like the end of the Shafer time, where there was zero expectations for the offense. It was a dogfight to just get first downs. Since DB has been here 3rd down conversions have been a struggle. Now it’s magnified by being poor in so many other areas too.
Unfortunately the next step after the complaining could be checking out on the program completely. The complaining shows that they still have a passion for the team. I'd rather see that than apathy.Exactly. In a second post I did say non-stop complain does no one good. I get complaining on a board but it’s like doomsday on here.
We are playing a SUNY school this week. Nobody give's two craps about this game. I'd be focused on Sat if we were playing anyone other than an FCS opponent this week. It's as bad as a bye for fans, the sting of last Sat will resonate beyond a W this Sat. That's why I think people are still complaining. I'll be done when we can start worrying about Liberty next week(can't believe I just said that).Sheesh, the week is almost done.
