That's nuts. He absolutely toyed with a very good horse who was in a drive on the turn. As Woody Stephens used to say when he had a good one, he could be any kind.

I have a hard time seeing that race and thinking its winning the derby.. you could convince me that it wins the travers though

I don't know. The Derby is a tough race with 18 or so starters and post position means something but he beat a very good horse today without breaking a sweat. Not sure who would be favored over him right now.
