Fearless prediction: It will be a huge win if his stats are close to Alan Griffin's season numbers. Or Guerrier's.

I would be borderline shocked if he is able to replicate the 14 & 8 on 50% shooting that Q had this year.

Look, JB is great at coaching 1 game, need a victory, single elimination format. But he coaches every game like it is Game 7. He is not playing the long game, developing proper relationships with todays kids, committed to recruiting, developing a bench etc that is contributing to SU being a 10 or 11 seed and then winning a couple of games because teams arent familiar with the zone and go cold from outside.

We ain’t exactly going 30-5 and beating anybody out there as often as they beat us these days. We’re mediocre and the top programs beat us like 75% of the time. That’s “Hall” territory.

Last year would’ve been their 5th tourney in a row. Pretty similar results. We play barnburners or lose to UConn and Georgetown these days. Not sure why we still talk like we’re way better than these schools.
