What if I told you final interviews were happening at the beginning of next week? Would that be 7 steps behind?

The admin was prepared for this and had an idea of who they would look at for their next coach. It’s been 10 days since KT resigned, that includes a holiday weekend and the men’s team being in the final four. While this is a priority, it’s not the only thing going on for the admin at SU.

Without disclosing any candidates are you hearing any names that will get the fan base and recruits excited?

It is my understanding that KT did not "resign" according to the common usage of that term.

It’s not that they are slow or behind the problem is the portal is open and the opportunity to fill holes on the roster is ticking away

She can and probably has but what kid is going to come to a school without knowing the head coach? It’s all well and good to use the phrase “pick the school not the coach” when you are talking about other families but that bullshit. I wouldn’t want let my child pick a school without a coach if they were a college athlete. It has too much of an impact on their day to day life at the D1 level.

I think Tumulo and Thorpe have the most upside as far as alumni I don’t think Rowan would leave Albany with her husband working there. Another alumni no one has talked about is Becca Block she has been the assistant at Harvard. Obviously Spallina is qualified I do think his focus is on the PLL. Gary and Regy did manage to be coaches in the MLL even won a championship I believe so it’s possible I just don’t think Wildhack would go for it the way Gross did. As I said before Dowd and McCormack from Hopkins would be good outside candidates let the committee interview them all and may the best get hired
 
How is Thorpe as a coach? I remember him from HS and JUCO and SU as a player. He was an amazing runner.
